On this week's The Billboard Hot 100 chart, "I Know You See It" remains Bad Boy's highest, sticking to the #17 spot. "Show Stopper" moved up 6 spots, though, fighting back from #24 to get to #18. "Me & U" fell 3 spots to #29, "Come to Me" fell 2 spots to #30 and "It's Goin' Down" fell 3 spots to #42.

Updating a previous entry... it seems that Kanye West isn't on the track with Nas and Cee-Lo, but he might be the producer.

That's always something to keep in mind, of course. When they say that such and such is on the album, even if they are listed with people who actually sing or rap on the album, they could be speaking production wise.

From AllHipHop.com's Rumors section:

THE INDUSTRY SING TO T.I. AND LISTEN TO DIDDY'S ALBUM

On the flip side, Diddy held a listening session last night and he commanded the crowd to sing "Happy Birthday" to the rapper. They also sang "Happy Birthday" to Andre Harrell, the man that gave Diddy his first shot at Uptown Records. Lil' Kim also came through and Diddy informed the crowd that he and the QB would be doing some work together. He even said he wanted to give her a better "Welcome Back" party. Lil' Cease was also there - SIKE! From what I have been told, Diddy's album sounds like a winner. A very fun, danceable recording. Now, I have been informed that there are a few records the b-boys and b-girls need to check for. First, the song with Diddy, Nas, Cee-Lo and Kanye. Secondly, there is a song that has Twista and Shawnna spitting like they have a mouth of madness. The other is a beat produced by Havoc of Mobb Deep; I was told it has eerie kids singing or something.

It's a rumors section, so be careful. But, if true... Diddy and Kim are working together again and Kanye is on the "Press Play" track that features Nas and Cee-Lo. Time will tell...

I was just updating some Billboard data when I noticed that Danity Kane's album is the first Bad Boy release to have 3 tracks show up on The Billboard Hot 100 since "Faithfully" by Faith Evans, which had 4 tracks chart. That was released on November 6, 2001. When you consider that 2 of the tracks haven't had a video, that makes it more interesting.

At Zac Posen's star-studded show Thursday night, Diddy paced the runway like a nervous dad, shaking hands and darting backstage at the last minute to offer good luck. But the music mogul and financial backer of Posen's line needn't have worried: This was the young designer's best collection and one of the most blissfully creative of the week, inspired by a kooky collision of Japanese design and Esther Williams glamour.

They have video over at the 99.5 website. Some funny moments. Some key notes:

He mentions that Burger King is buying him a YouTube channel called Diddy TV. I'm not sure what that means because you can get one for free, but maybe Burger King is buying him some time on the front page? Not sure.

He also mentions that Pharrell is on the album. He wasn't on the tracklist that has been floating around, so we'll have to see where that falls out.

The "Sean John Women" line will be out in February or March.

The Keyshia Cole song will be the third single for "Press Play."

Posted in Jordan McCoy

I just spoke with Jordan McCoy's manager, Debbie Hammond, CEO of Clockwork Entertainment, about the Big Girls Don't Cry situation with Fergie. She is "extremely disappointed" with Fergie, producer Toby Gad and manager David Sonnenberg and co. I did a short interview with her to get the details behind the story.

Is this something that commonly happens [in the music industry]?

Not at all. It's really bad business. When we purchased the song, we were told by the co-writer/producer and Fergie's management, that Fergie thought the song was "too immature" for her album and she felt she had better songs. We recorded the song and Fergie's management had a copy of it. All of our paperwork went through and was finalize., They were aware that Jordan would use the song as a single. Yesterday, the co-writer/producer sent me a note saying the song is on Fergie's album; but it's different from the version we did. Of course, it's identical. It's the EXACT SAME VERSION that they gave me on the demo that they submitted, with Fergie singing the song.

When you buy a song, is there not some sort of exclusivity or, at least, a period of exclusivity?

Yes, our agreement gives us a few years to use the song, or master, without them using it.

Is there any recourse that you may be considering?

The damage is done, unfortunately. It probably won't be a single for us now, because it's already out and Jordan's album will be out in March 2007. We can probably get the money back that was paid for the song, if the producer, Toby Gad, has it. He'll probably try and do another song for free. We won't work with them again. They are pretty crooked. They have the same management, so they knew.

Might the song be coming off Jordan's album?

I hope not. It was mine and Jordan's favorite song on the album. Harve Pierre loves it, too. Diddy originally passed on the song, when he heard the demo version with Fergie singing it. He said, "it sounds too dark for Jordan." We loved the song so much, that I asked the co-writer/producer, if we could record it anyway and let Diddy decide after hearing Jordan's vocals on it. Jordan's version wasn't in the least bit dark and Diddy instantly approved it. BEFORE we recorded it, the co-writer/producer went back to Fergie and his manager and made sure she didn't want the song for her album. He checked. I spoke with the manager myself about it. THEY KNEW the song was a single for us. They even grinded us on the deal to get more money out of us for the song, after it was recorded, and Jordan did such a great job on it.

End of interview.

I appreciate her taking the time.

You can listen to Fergie's version at MTV.com and Jordan's version on her MySpace page.

AllHipHop.com has an interview with Ness:

AllHipHop:.com Who’s on the new album?

Ness: The name of the album is called Nessessary. I got everybody production-wise from Bink, Will.I.am, Just Blaze, Kanye West, of course the Bad Boy staff, D-Dot, Tony Dofat, Stevie J, Chad West, a lot of people. ...

AllHipHop.com: Diddy said on one of the interludes of the mixtape that he kept you locked in the dungeon with no food or water to keep you hungry. He gave you a ringing endorsement, do you feel he’s 100% behind you at this point?

Ness: Um, no. I mean, you gotta understand that he has a label to run, he’s the CEO and he’s also the artist, and there’s also a lot of acts everywhere. I could say this, whenever I call him or I need anything, he would make sure it gets done. Money-wise, contractual-wise, any problem I have the door’s always open. People may be saying, “Why you still down with Bad Boy, Puff is a jerk artist or whatever,” but I’d be the first to say if you don’t handle your business, you’re gonna run into obstacles. Me and Puff got an understanding; he knows that I love the music. I can’t speak on anybody else’s situation, but I know all my paperwork is straight.

Fergie's new album, "The Dutchess," features a song called "Big Girls Don't Cry."

This song was written by Fergie and was sold to Clockwork or Bad Boy for Jordan McCoy's album. Jordan wrote a pair of MySpace bulletins on it. A summary of points:

- She is saddened by it.
- They were told that it wouldn't be used for Fergie's album.
- Writers generally don't do this to artists.
- She says that Fergie changed her mind after she listened to Jordan's version of it.
- The one Fergie released is the exact same song that they did. "I can't believe she didn't even change it," she says.

Here are some more things to think about in regard to that Press Play tracklist:

Are Kanye and Pharrell performing or not? The New York Times article said that "he has recorded with an array of heavyweight friends, including Kanye West, T. I., Pharrell, Jamie Foxx and Big Boi of OutKast." So, from that, it's hard to say. But, if Kanye and Pharrell are on there, they weren't on that tracklist.

WikiPedia's page for "Press Play" has a couple of potentially useful tidbits on it. First, Scar is a male R&B singer signed to Big Boi's label. You can listen to him on their site. This makes sense because the track listing had Scar as appearing on the song that has Big Boi and Ciara on it. So, it's probably not Scarface like I had guessed, even though that would have been good. :)

Next, for the song with "Keri," it links to Keri Hilson who is apparently signed to Timbaland's label and has done some writing for Danity Kane. This also makes sense because Timbaland is a producer (and featured artist) on the album.

Still, though, this tracklist should be regarded carefully and not taken as an absolute. It could be partially true (it's at least partially true) or completely true or simply a work in progress. We'll know soon enough as we are exactly 1 month away from it's release.

CD WOW! has posted a tracklist for Press Play. Here it is:

Testimonial (Intro)
We Gon' Make It featuring Jack Knight
I Am (Interlude)
The Future
Come To Me (Feat. Nicole Scherzinger)
Tell Me (Feat. Christina Aguilera)
Wanna Move (Feat. Big Boi, Ciara & Scar)
Diddy Rock (Feat. Timbaland, Twista & Shawnna)
Claim My Place (Interlude)
Everything I Love (Feat. Nas & Cee-Lo)
Special Feeling (Feat. Mika Lett)
Crazy Thang (Interlude)
After Love (Feat. Keri)
Through The Pain (She Told Me) (Feat. Mario Winans)
Thought You Said (Feat. Brandy)
Last Night (Feat. Keyshia Cole)
Makin' It Hard (Feat. Mary J Blige)
Partners For Life (Feat. Jamie Foxx)

Now, this makes sense (except for a few things, I'll talk about it in a minute). Still, it should be greeted carefully, don't make the assumption that this is final... or even true. But, for the sake of discussion, let's pretend it is true. There are some new guest artists here that we haven't heard much about. Jack Knight, Scar, Mike Lett and Keri. I'm willing to guess that Scar = Scarface. Mike Lett? Keri? I don't know who they are, sorry. Let me know if you do.

As for the things that don't fit: first, there is no "Gettin' Off." Where are Fergie, Avant and Pharoahe Monch (whom Amazon.com lists as a performer)? Avant was supposedly on the Brandy track, so maybe the feature list just isn't complete.

NEW ALBUM - DIDDY'S FIRST IN FIVE YEARS - DROPS OCTOBER 17TH

Bad Boy Records founder, CEO and recording artist Diddy has unveiled plans for a sleepless, event-jammed, cross-country promotional tour heralding the impending arrival of his eagerly awaited new album, "PRESS PLAY," due in stores on October 17th. Throughout the month-long run, Diddy will also be honored by mayors and other local officials. In some cities, Diddy will be awarded the prestigious "Key to the City," while in others, a proclamation of "Diddy Day" will be announced to celebrate his visit.

In addition, the "Press Play" tour will include a series of "Diddy High" events, where he will visit high schools in a number of cities, including Philadelphia, Baltimore, Washington DC, Norfolk, Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, San Francisco, Las Vegas, and others. In speaking with students, he will address such themes as "No Excuses," "How To Make It Happen," "Press Play On Your Life," and "Empowerment."

Among the highlights of the promo trek will be "Diddy Satellite Radio," a two-hour session on XM Radio slated for September 19th; "Breakfast with Diddy" extravaganzas at an array of high-profile morning shows; a taping of the nationally syndicated American Top 40 with Ryan Seacrest; and a pair of very special "Bad Boy Weekend" events in Atlanta (September 22nd through 24th) and Washington, DC (October 6th through 8th). In every market visited, Diddy will spend time meeting and greeting lucky winners of various station-sponsored contests.

The "PRESS PLAY" promotional tour will wrap up on October 16th with Diddy's return to his home base of New York City. A number of interviews and events are slated for the album's street date, including visits to such influential Big Apple stations as Hot 97, Z100, and Power 105.

The latest Hot 100 chart is in and Bad Boy has finally fallen out of the top 10 (for now ;)).

The big news is "Come to Me" which jumped from #93 (where it debuted, apparently) to #25. Nice.

"I Know You See It" remained at #19. "Me & U" dropped from 10 to 20. "Show Stopper" dropped from #20 to #26."It's Goin' Down" fell from #28 to #30. So, Bad Boy's got 5 tracks in the top 30. 5 from #19 to #30, actually.

"Danity Kane" falls from #2 to #4, still moving a solid 82,000 units, pushing them up to 434,000. They should be past 500,000 in 2 weeks, tops.

Yung Joc's "New Joc City" continues his strong numbers with 27,000, in at #28. He's not at 691,000. Can he get to 1,000,000? It seems possible because of "I Know You See It" having the success that it is. If he can average 21,000 units sold for the final 15 weeks of this year, he'll pass it before we get to 2007.

Finally, "Cassie" continues to fall, in at #57 with 15,000 albums sold. She's at 199,000 overall.

From Yahoo! Entertainment:

"It's only fair that since he said he used Diddy first, that he be allowed to use it. I am blessed that I have many, many names to choose from," the rapper said in a statement, adding that he new album, Press Play, "will be released from Diddy in the U.S. and and from P. Diddy in Europe." Visit

A publicist for the rapper said Monday the matter was amicably resolved, but disputed a report in London's Guardian newspaper that the 36-year-old Combs had agreed to pay the 40-year-old Dearlove $18,000 in damages and more than $180,000 in legal costs (amounts that reportedly could be reduced on appeal by a High Court judge).

"The damages reported are wholly inaccurate and the request by Dearlove's attorney for legal fees in a case that has been settled is regrettable and is being vigorously contested," the publicist said.

From MTVNews.com:

Block Entertainment CEO Big Block has made the newest member of Boyz N Da Hood official. It's not Rick Ross, Lil Wayne or T.I., as had been rumored. He went a whole different route and brought on a newcomer: Zo.

"When I first did Boyz, it was built on me grabbing new artists, springboarding their career, and they branch off," Block explained. "The whole movement was Big Gee, Jodie Breeze, Duke and Young Jeezy. Jeezy is up now, he's gone. I was gonna sign Rick Ross; Rick Ross couldn't sign with me. To keep it all the way real, it was paperwork, politics. Same thing with Lil Wayne; Wayne couldn't sign with me.

"So Rick Ross, Lil Wayne, T.I. are all honorary members of Boyz N Da Hood," he continued. "But the official new member is Zo. Zo is in the group. He's gonna take it to another level then drop his solo album, Welcome to the Zoo. ... The new group album in February is called Back in the Chevy. [Yung] Joc is on there. Ice Cube is on the single." ...

Mix Tape Monday at MTVNews.com talks about Ness' new mixtape:

411: We know what you're thinking: Where has this dude been? He was supposed to come out with a new album a couple of years ago. To keep it all the way real, Ness said he had to take some time out of the spotlight after being followed by cameras with his "Making the Band 3" group Da Band for three years straight ("I had to get to being a regular n---a," he said). Now he's back. Ness restructured his deal with Bad Boy in May and is hoping to piggyback off of the success of Danity Kane, Yung Joc, Cassie and Diddy as they flood the airwaves with Bad Boy material. Ness has recorded more than 200 songs and will put out the single "Talkin Dirty" soon. "I recorded whole albums with 9th Wonder, recorded whole albums with Tony Dofat, recorded whole albums with D-Dot — I'm talking about 12, 14 joints when I say whole albums. I got joints from Will.I.Am, Swizz Beatz, Just Blaze." For the mixtape, the Philly native teamed up with DJ Cannon and former high school classmate DJ Drama. Here's the science on some of the tracks:

Joints To Check For:
"Talkin Dirty." "It's produced by Khrysis and recorded by 9th Wonder," Ness said. "We only have, like, two original tracks on the mixtape; the rest are freestyles. This is the first single off my debut album, Nessessary. Basically it's a hip-hop joint getting back at all the naysayers that had something to say about Ness. The actual verses were written in 2000 while I was incarcerated.

"Can I Live" freestyle. "I went in my bag on this one," Ness said. "This is the Lockness Monsta goin' hard on my favorite all-time Bad Boy track [Black Rob's 'Can I Live']."

"F--- N---as F--- B******." "I took the concept from Biggie when he freestyled over Dr. Dre's beats [on 'Road to the Riches.'] I was just showing n---as I could rap over anyone's track no matter the region. I used all West Coast beats like 'B****** Ain't Sh--,' 'This Is How We Do It,' 'What's My Name,' 'Gin and Juice.' "

Just a little idea I've been thinking about. A while back, Jay-Z had a 10th anniversary concert for the release of his widely regarded classic debut album, "Reasonable Doubt". He performed the album in it's entirety with guest appearances (not all of the guest appearances due to various circumstances, but where they couldn't get the same people, they had other people perform). I've been thinking, how cool would it be if Diddy did that with "No Way Out"? July 22, 2007 will mark the 10th anniversary of its release.

"No Way Out" is generally not regarded as the classic that "Reasonable Doubt" is. Nonetheless, many people (and especially fans, of course) do consider it a classic. It remains one of the best selling rap albums of all time. It is certified 7x platinum. No Way Out had 1 3x platinum single, 1 2x platinum single, 1 platinum single and 1 gold single. Insane. It spawned 7 music videos.

Consider the caliber of the guest artists: The Notorious B.I.G., Busta Rhymes, Mase, Lil' Kim, Carl Thomas, Jay-Z, Black Rob, The Lox, Ginuwine, Twista, Foxy Brown, Faith Evans and 112. Obviously, Biggie is not here. But, that didn't stop them from performing Brooklyn's Finest at Jay-Z's concert. A bigger problem would be the bad feelings that exist between Diddy and Mase and Lil' Kim as well as Black Rob being in jail. I have a feeling the rest would make it.

Perhaps, in 6 months from now, Mase will be on some other label and that'll be worked out. He doesn't seem to have any big issues outside of that. Lil' Kim, who knows. But, who cares? Jay-Z didn't have everyone, either, and that includes people who were alive.

But, if it could be pulled together, it would be a sight to see. I probably wouldn't be able to make it, so a DVD release would be required!

The New York Times has a great, long article on Diddy that is definitely worth a read.

It mentions a song called "Diddy Rock" as "an inventive fusion of hardcore hip-hop and Ibiza-style dance music, which sounded great." It also mentions that Pharrell and T.I. will be on the album. The song "Wanna Move" features Big Boi. The article calls it "a stunning Southern-bounce-meets-Kraftwerk track."

... Mr. Combs and company drove to the corner of 142nd Street and Lenox Avenue in Harlem. As several double-parked cars blasted Diddy songs, dozens of young men milled about. Two elderly women, dressed in African prints, approached the party. “What’s going on here?” one demanded sternly.

“Puffy’s got a new album,” someone said.

“Puff Daddy? Where is he?”

“Right here, ma’am,” Mr. Combs said, offering her a mini bottle of Moët. She stood near him for a bit, sipping Champagne through a plastic straw and swaying to the music. Then she quietly shuffled away. ...

When he is not in Diddy mode, Mr. Combs is disarmingly friendly and low-key, even shy and self-deprecating.

From The Guardian:

Sean Combs, the rapper, actor and entertainment mogul who has also been known as Puff Daddy and Puffy during his career, has lost the right to use his shorter nickname of Diddy in the UK after agreeing to an out-of-court settlement.

His defeat came at the hands of a rather less well-known Diddy, the London-based music producer Richard Dearlove, who has been trading under the name since 1992. Mr Dearlove, 40, sued Combs, 36, for passing off after learning that the rapper had dropped the P from his name and had decided to relaunch himself solely as Diddy. The law of passing off is designed to deal with unfair competition, in particular with businesses that suffer when another one adopts the same name. ...

To comply with the terms of the order, Combs will have to embark on a costly rebrand of his commercial activities in the UK.

That's a shame, but I guess he had the name first. So, that's that. Still, it doesn't really matter that much. Wherever Diddy goes, he's Diddy, he's P. Diddy, he's Puff, he's Puffy, he's Puff Daddy, he's Sean John. He's had these names for a long time, which is why I always laugh when people say he's changing names. Listen to Victory, listen to Biggie. "P. Diddy run the city, show no pity." If I remember correctly, that was one of the last songs Biggie recorded, which would place it in the early parts of 1997. It wouldn't be crazy to guess he had it for a while before then and B.I.G. didn't pull it out of his hat.

"I suffered from a head injury in 2001, when Sean Combs changed his name to P Diddy. I lost my sight for three years and couldn't work," Mr Dearlove told the Guardian.

Is he serious?

I just watched Diddy's performance right before my Dolphins go up against the Steelers. Overall, it was a good performance. He performed "Come to Me" with an alternate beat of sorts. I wish he would have used the regular version of the song just because I like it better.

It was pretty clear that he was lip syncing (a little more apparent than it should have been) and he brought out Cassie and Danity Kane to lip sync the female/group parts of the song. I didn't see Yung Joc. For a 5 minute performance, though, it was a pretty big production. Large band on stage, like 6-8 dancers that shadowed Diddy, lots of lights and fireworks. It was a good routine. If the lip syncing was on point, it would have been a great one. Like I said, though, a good performance.

Edit: Actually, in watching the video again, Yung Joc was the hype man. You can see him when Diddy moves out to the circle in a white shirt (and also behind Cassie and 2 of the Danity Kane girls in a later shot).

HHNLive.com has posted an interview with Ness:

Q: Whatever happened to that album you and Babs was supposed to drop?

E. Ness: We was supposed to drop an album, but what happened was we found our own identity so the label thought it was best if we come out with our own solo efforts. I'm up first and Babs still got a lot of material in the workings, she's putting together a solid project, but we recorded a lot of music so a lot of music didn't get used before they dismantled the band, but we got a lot of music recorded. So whenever I pop off and she pops off it's going to be a good look for both of us.

Q: I heard you on the radio a couple times here in Philly too, so why they showing you so much love?

E. Ness: Basically because of where I been, they know my struggle that I came from nothing and I got an opportunity to do what I always wanted to do and make money off it. I want to share my music with the world and sell records, so they support that and Philadelphia is a big market. It's not a real big city compared to other cities like Atlanta and New York, but it's a real big market and we take hip-hop serious. They know I'm one of the new faces up and coming, so they support me and get behind me and I give out the love while they show it back.

Danity Kane's second week sales are in and the big (bigger than usual) drop that a bunch of bored people were probably hoping for just didn't happen. They sold 117,359 units, the 2nd best selling album of the week with only the one and only Bob Dylan topping them with his first week. That makes for a total of 351,981. With any luck, they'll have gold sales in 2 weeks time.

Yung Joc continued his strong sales, dropping only a little (about 2,000 less), in with 27,925. 663,772 is his total.

Finally, Cassie's numbers continue to shrink, as he only sold 17,736 copies in her 4th week. That gives her a total of 184,033.

Eightball: Man, it’s just, like to me, it’s one of the best 8 Ball & MJG albums that we’ve done in a long time. It’s like a combination of all our best stuff. It’s just gritty! The tracks, the music, is extra big –- They extra big on this album. It’s just a real good 8 Ball & MJG album.

Crave Online: You named the new CD, Ridin’ High. Why?

Eightball: I don’t know, man. I think we just…I think everything has just been tight on this album. Like we went all the way gritty, (just) like we wanted to go. And, I think the big difference on this album might be the production. "I had a million dollars, spent that $33. Sold the hat back because I was down $5 and I had a million dollars again. So I became a millionaire twice!"

Joc laughs.

"Think about it!"

Some of you may have known this, but I didn't. Besides the Little X video I posted about before, there was also another one. Check it out below:

Edit: Actually, the video is for "You Don't Know Me", not "I Dare You". Not sure why I didn't catch that before...

In the latest video posted on Diddy's MySpace.com page, Diddy is getting ready for the VMAs and he goes through a bit of his skin care regimen. Some funny stuff. But, when he goes over over his secrets and mentions number 3 (at 1:02), he throws a little subliminal back at 50 Cent. Watch it below. To quote:

Number 3, boys and girls, is one of my biggest secrets. A bubble bath. Now, I know some of you gangsta (coin drops) rappers out there, y'all don't take bubble baths. But, you need to start. So, you can slow down and think about what you're saying. Oh, yes, you do.

And then he makes kind of a, if I had to describe it, serious smile.

We don't know all of the details, but I think there are a couple of simple facts. 1. Mase has signed a legally binding contract with Bad Boy. 2. 50 Cent hasn't offered enough, in Diddy's eyes, to trade for Mase. So, with that in mind, I am going to simplify this argument a bit. Throw out anything you think about Diddy and 50. Clean slate. Pick a piece of property that you own that has some sort of value. Now, imagine this scenario:

Some Guy: "Hello, I want to buy that piece of property that you own. How much?"
You: "I want $500 for it."
Some Guy: "Well, I don't want to pay that. I'll give you $300."
You: "No, sorry. I want $500."
Some Guy: "Just give it to me for $300."
You: "No."
Some Guy: "Despite the fact that it is your property that you have a right to sell at the price of your choosing, I'm going to pretend that that isn't true and I'm recording a diss track."
You: "Have at it."

Some Guy is 50 Cent. You are Diddy. Mase's recording rights are a piece of property. If you still think Diddy should just let Mase go or go for whatever 50 Cent is offering... I'd like to visit your house and buy some things.

A couple of days ago, I picked up a few books on The Notorious B.I.G. from Amazon.com. These included The Murder of Biggie Smalls, LAbyrinth, Unbelievable and Ready to Die.

As I was flipping through Unbelievable (which looks very interesting), I couldn't help but think: man, I cannot wait to read Diddy's autobiography. You have to consider everything he's done, everything he's accomplished, everyone he's been around and everything he's gone through. It's astonishing. I hope that when he steps back, maybe 10 years from now or whatever, he does write one so that we can find out more about what happened and see it through his eyes. And when he does, I will be one of the first to pre-order it.

If you missed their appearance (minus the video, you can watch it on YouTube.

The funny thing is that if you go to 7:28, you'll see one of the hosts (don't know her name) cut off Diddy and, maybe he's just playing around, but it seemed like he didn't care for it. :) You hear him say "oooookkkkkkkkk" shortly after she does it. Then he laughs it off and says he'll take it easy since their new.

From SOHH.com:

Pharoah has also been busy penning songs for Diddy's new album. He wrote three joints on the LP, saying that the Proactive pretty boy requested him and that the two had great chemistry while working on the project. "He basically told me that he wanted to get really introspective about his pops and that he wanted to talk about his inhibitions and the things that bother him."

The Bad Boy Records YouTube account posted video from The Source Awards when Diddy performed with Hurricane G, Lil' Cease and Nas. They preformed "P.E. 2000" and "Hate Me Now." Watch it below.

Last night at the VMAs, Hype Williams was honored with the Video Vanguard award. It was cool because when they started to air a sort of montage of videos that he has directed, the first 3 that they displayed had Diddy in them (and he was shown in the screen). They were "Big Poppa," "Flava In Ya Ear (Remix)" and "Hate Me Now." Then there were two videos without Diddy and then there was another one in "Mo Money Mo Problems."

When you consider how far back that goes and how those videos helped propel both Hype Williams and Bad Boy, it was strange that he didn't thank Diddy, but did thank Jay-Z, Nas, Kelis, Beyonce, Busta, Missy and others. The last two were understandable, given that they were part of a bringing the videos life thing where Busta performed "Put Your Hands Where My Eyes Could See" and Missy performed "The Rain (Supa Dupa Fly)" with Timbaland, both of which were cool to see. Still, it was strange given the number of Bad Boy videos has done. I don't like to read into things, so I'll guess that it was just an omission.
