According to her MySpace, Shannon Bex of Danity Kane is on the cover of the October issue of "Fitness Rx For Women" magazine.
According to a bulletin from Dawn Richard's MySpace, she will be joined by Danity Kane group mates D. Woods and Shannon to host a party in San Francisco on August 31. It'll be at Suite One 8 One at 181 Eddy Street. The party starts at 10:00 PM.
Melissa Mary Smith of The Jambar reports that Danity Kane will be giving a free concert on Thursday in Youngstown, Ohio at Stambaugh Stadium, which is a part of Youngstown State University. The show starts at 7:00 PM.

Hairspray and Making the Band star Aubrey O'Day will walk the runway for Heatherette designer Richie Rich's new Hot Topic collection during Fashion Week, the Danity Kane singer revealed at last night's Traitor premiere. "I’m walking in Richie Rich’s new line. He was from Heatherette, now he’s got a line called, um … Celebut…," she turned to her friend to ask. "I think it’s Celebutante." Bingo. Diddy taught her well: Correctly stating the name of that which you promote is paramount to modern-day celebrity success. "Lydia Hearst and I are the new models for the line, so we just shot that a couple days ago, and I’m walking in his show on the 9th.”
In anticipation of an upcoming Danity Kane performance at Jones Beach in New York, Dawn Richard of Danity Kane had a quick interview with Newsday.

Broadway.com has an interview with Aubrey O'Day from Danity Kane, discussing an array of subjects, but centering around her work on "Hairspray" on Broadway.
I've read you had to choose between going to law school and performing. How do you make a decision like that?
There was no debate, really. When the Making the Band opportunity exposed itself I jumped on board quickly. I come from a family of attorneys and am very passionate about the law and politics. So [law] was like second nature to me. But performing is what I was meant to do.
Your bio shows you've been a musical theater kid all along.
I'd say I've been doing it since I came out of the womb, but legitimately I've been doing it since I was four. That's when I did my first musical.
In a blog post on her MySpace, Dawn from Danity Kane announced that she was working with a charitable organization named the Artist Relief Collective.
She'll be hosting an event for them, benefiting displaced survivors of Hurricane Katrina. It'll be on August 29, from 7:30 PM to 12:00 AM at the Judson Memorial Church in New York, NY. See the flier below.

Dawn Richard's MySpace has a new track from Dawn called "Release Me".
According to this press release, Aubrey O'Day of Danity Kane is featured in this month's issue of IMAGE Chicago Magazine.

“I don’t take off my makeup, I eat fast food, I do everything bad,” Danity Kane’s Aubrey O’Day tells me. How does she get photo-ready? “My biggest thing about pictures is how you feel. The pictures where I don’t look as good, I’m not as happy, I think, so however you’re feeling inside as a person that day kind of comes out in photos.”
Danity Kane has been nominated for it's second 2008 MTV VMA, picking up a nod for "Damaged" in the "Best Dancing In A Video" category. This follows their nomination, for the same song, in the "Best Pop Video" category.

That’s not to say it’s been all champagne and roses. After the first album, Danity Kane fell victim to unscrupulous financial advisers and had the indignity of being fired by their own manager via text message. In short, they were being called a one-hit wonder before they even had a chance to make a second record.
“We were broke,” O’Day reveals. “All of our money was gone. Our financial advisor was taken away to jail on tax evasion. No one was returning our calls. No one at our label [the Combs’ owned Bad Boy] cared about us.” But the group stayed together, even when it felt like they were sure to break apart. Together, the women found a new voice in their second album: a tougher, more mature tone.

Danity Kane's "Damaged" has been nominated in the "Best Pop Video" category in the 2008 MTV VMAs. The competition is "Burnin' Up" by the Jonas Brothers, "Nine In The Afternoon" by Panic At The Disco, "Piece of Me" by Britney Spears and "Ready, Set, Go!" by Tokio Hotel.
E! Online spoke with Jesse McCartney on the rumors that he and Aubrey O'Day of Danity Kane were going out.
There have been rumors out there that you're dating, or were dating, Aubrey O'Day. Are you dating her?
We went out one night. My whole band and all my friends where there. Her friends were there. We went out that one night, but it never really amounted to anything.
