On a track Rich Boy track called "Drop," (listen at XXLmag.com) Polow Da Don says:

Me, myself and Mr. Sean "P. Diddy" Combs, we gonna pay somebody's mortgage in 2009. For the whole year. Go to Zone4Inc.com to register to win or pay attention to Diddy blogs.

As of now there is no mention of this on Zone4Inc.com, though there is a sweepstakes offering the chance to have Polow Da Don pay your rent for a year.

Below is an official statement from Donnie Klang regarding a story posted on a website that is known to be completely unreliable. More on that in a second. Here's the statement:

"A popular website posted a completely fabricated story about me yesterday, and now it's circulating around the internet. It is important for me to speak to my fans and let them know that the story is 100% fiction. It's completely made up! I love all my fans and all people of various racial, ethnic, and religious backgrounds. I would never, in any way, say anything racially derogatory. In addition, I love my Bad Boy family and have nothing but love for the entire label and staff. Don't believe the lies! The story is absolutely false."

It's a shame that he has to acknowledge it at all. If you just read Bad Boy Blog, you may be asking "what rumor?" This is because I didn't report it. It wasn't that I didn't see it. I did. But, it was because I read it and immediately, it was fairly clear it was made up. It read like it was right out of the anti-Diddy puppet manual. You have to consider the source. The site that it came from is a site that just creates stories without any basis in reality. They do not fact check anything. People want to read made up, juicy gossip and they deliver. Let me explain how it works.

Websites like this one and that one make money through advertising. The way that you generate income, usually, from website advertising is impressions (when you view a page) and clicks (when you click on the ad). If you write juicy, sensational nonsense, it can lead to you getting a lot of traffic, which means a lot of ad money, which means a lot of profit. This is why they do it. The site is making a mint, monetizing lies. Meanwhile, here at BBB, we receive 1/1,000,000th of their traffic, probably, and make very little, as such. But, I wouldn't have it any other way. I'd rather be responsible and poor, then slimy and rich. This is also why I am not and will not link to them. Because it would simply mean more money for them and I'm not supporting that. This is a responsible site and while blogs get a bad wrap sometimes because of the gossip blogs like the one I'm talking about here, there are good writers out there that maintain blogs that take the responsibility very seriously. If you hate rumors and made up garbage, I hope that you, as a Bad Boy Blog reader, will let your actions speak for your beliefs by not visiting websites that push an untruthful, often hateful agenda. Thank you for reading.

As a follow up to the open letter from earlier this month, Diddy, Jay-Z, Mary J. Blige and Kevin Liles have issued a second, which is quoted below.

It ain't over, until it's over. There is still so much work to be done. The thrill of victory is just 1 week away. We hear it in the streets, we feel it in our hearts and it's burning in our souls. Together we have successfully registered the most young voters in the history of the modern political process. We called a State Of Emergency on October 3rd at 6:00AM and our culture stood up and recognized the importance of registering millions of voters. From 1st time voters who have just come of age to vote, to those who are participating for the 1st time in the voting process. Your commitment to Change will continue to ring across our America, because we all are in the Right State Of Mind

Where it stands today, we are on the verge of making history, the kind of history that will be apart of our cultures legacy. The kind of history that bridges the gap between race, religion and culture, the kind of history that will ignite a light that shines bright from generation to generation, screaming that our voice does matter and our vote does count. The kind of history that will enable the next generation of leaders to encourage vision, not division, to encourage hope, not hopelessness, to encourage the power of the people, not the power politics of the few.

With only 7 days left before we vote for change, let's hold ourselves accountable and responsible. No more excuses, no more mistakes and no more time to waste. If you have the opportunity to vote early in your state then vote today. If you are voting on November 4th, make preparation today. Bring your family and friends and plan for the party at the poles. Make November 4th the day we celebrate change - The day we celebrate freedom of choice. The day we celebrate power of all people. Lets all come together on November 4th, because it's a family reunion. It's our time and we are all in the Right State Of Mind.

We have 7 days to Vote for Change. 7 days to Vote to Make History. We can not slow down. We can not let up. We must push through to history until the final vote is cast and the last ballot is counted. We can, we must, and we will Make It Happen. Vote Obama/Biden on November 4th.

God Bless,
Diddy

From MTV News:

Williams is working with a lot of artists he can talk about right now. We were in the studio with him recently in Atlanta and had a sneak preview of some beats he did for Diddy and the Clipse. One Puff track that really stuck out has the potential to be huge if Diddy does it right.

John J. Moser of The Morning Call has a feature on Donnie Klang.

''People know me from 'Making The Band,' '' he concedes. But he says there's also ''a whole bunch of people that just really don't know me, 'cause I'm a new artist. So I'm just trying to get my face out there and do everything I could possibly do to let people know, 'Hi, I'm Donnie and my album's out.' ''

One way to do that is opening for Backstreet Boys, which Klang will do at Reading's Sovereign Center on Thursday, the Wellmont Theater in Montclair, N.J., on Friday and Wilkes-Barre's Wachovia Arena on Saturday.

Before there was Danity Kane, there was Dream. Though not terribly similar (outside of both being girl groups signed to Bad Boy), Dream is sometimes invoked by Diddy's critics as one of the acts that "disappeared" after having been signed to Bad Boy. This, of course, casually ignores the fact that most acts disappear, in general, regardless of where they are signed. Nonetheless, with the recent Danity Kane turmoil, the group has been trotted out as another girl group that Diddy supposedly ruined (some probably included former Bad Boy trio Total in this, as well, I imagine).

In response to this claim, Debbie Hammond, the CEO of ClockWork Entertainment, Dream's former co-label that entered into a joint venture with Bad Boy, issued a statement with her thoughts. Here it is, in it's entirety:

Andreas Hale of BET.com has a two part interview with Day26. It's a very good read. Some of the most interesting parts of it are reflections that the group makes about Aubrey. Here's a sample:

A lot of people looked at Diddy with a crooked eye during the season finale for what happened with Aubrey and D Woods…

Brian: I’m going to tell you something about that. I love Aubrey. She’s a very talented woman and she’s my sister. But the Aubrey you saw in the season finale is not the Aubrey we are used to seeing. I’m not trying to bash her. She’s a talented young lady. But she went out there and she handled the situation the most unprofessional way possible. There’s a lot that went on behind the scenes and the cameras only are going to show what they want to show. You didn’t get to see everything. There was a lot building up to Aubrey getting kicked out but you didn’t get to see it.

Q, you kind of alluded to Dawn having a solo deal. Do you think that had something to do with the girls and their issues?

Q: I think Aubrey is a person that manipulates people. I think she’s jealous and she needs help. My issue came in because Dawn is my girl. She comes to me and she cries and expresses that she, Aundrea and Shannon are all for Danity Kane. But this whole Ebony & Ivory (D Woods and Aubrey)…they have other things that they want to do and they don’t put Danity Kane first. The difference between Day26 and Danity Kane is that when I made the group, I put Day26 first and Q second. Everything that has to do with the group, I’m going to handle first. Aubrey did "Hairspray" and the girls supported her. Aubrey wasn’t showing up to tour dates! That’s messed up. Then you try and throw Dawn’s situation in her face? I think that’s jealousy. Prime example is that Aubrey came on stage during the finale saying that she wanted to be in the group while backstage you are taking pictures by yourself. It’s just phony to me. I think the rest of the girls handled it very professionally but I wish that the audience could have been exposed to the truth. Somebody has to stand up to Aubrey and someone has to tell the truth or she is going to keep getting away with it. They were on her side for all the wrong reasons.

Furthermore, Que says that D. Woods didn't come to the finale because Aubrey lied to her and told her that she was not coming. He added that MTV's editing of the show portrayed Aubrey as a good girl - but, in reality, she was anything but. Check out the full interview for all of the details.

I wonder if the same people congratulating Aubrey for "keeping it real" about Diddy, will also congratulate Que for "keeping it real" about Aubrey. It'll be interesting to watch.

DJBooth.net has a new interview with Cassie.

DJ Booth: The first album, as you mentioned, self-titled, was produced mostly by the incomparable Ryan Leslie. Now, this time around, I know that you’re working with several producers. You’ve already worked with Danja and The Clutch, who else can we expect to show up on the liner notes?

Cassie: I just got out of the studio with Pharrell, I’ve been working for quite some time with Puff, he’s produced some tracks on the album, Mario Winans, Rodney Jerkins – there’s a whole roster, and some great writers, too.

DJ Booth: Those are all good names. I’ve spoken with Ryan a number of times about his work with you, and he usually gushed about how proud he is of all of your accomplishments. How much of your success, to this point, would you attribute to him?

Cassie: So much of it, really. You know, he convinced me that I needed to be a singer, and he believed in it, and he supported me one hundred percent, and he helped me make records and put together an album, and so much.

FabSugar has an interview with Zac Posen.

Styles that inspire you?

"More people on the street inspire me. It’s hard to be inspired by people’s styles in the moment. It’s usually better in reflection. That’s not saying there’s not many people who have great style. There are whole teams that build style and an image and a look. I love the Rachel Zoe show. I think it’s a great depiction, it really shows how hard the work is that goes behind building the looks more than the other fashion reality that exists. I thought Anne Hathaway looked really excellent in that dress of ours. It was quite exciting."

Jay Cridlin of the St. Petersberg Times has the story on Diddy's planned hosting of a three night party for this year's Super Bowl, which is being held in Tampa, Florida.

Winky Wright knew he wanted to host a glamorous Super Bowl party when the game came to Tampa. He also knew he wanted to show a little love to St. Petersburg, the city he calls home.

Then he got Diddy. And that's when things went nuts.

"You have to get the talent first," said Wright, perched on a plush couch in the Venue in Clearwater, site of "The Good Life Experience," a three-night party he's hosting alongside Sean "Diddy" Combs and Deion Sanders from Jan. 29 to 31. "And when we knew that we had Diddy, all the other doors just opened up. Now we can come to different people and say, 'Look, this is what we've got. We've got Diddy, we've got Winky, we've got Deion, and this is what we plan on doing.' People listen now."

From an interview with The Fashion Time Magazine:

Lauren “Daisy” Lewellyn, if that name sounds familiar to you, it’s likely because you’ve seen her on a number of television programs including The View, Good Morning America, The Today Show, CBS Early Show, E News, The Learning Channel’s Dinner Takes All, BET’s My Model Looks Better than Your Model, and Fox 5 News, or read her in In Style, Marie Clare, Ambermag.com, Glamour, Heart & Soul, and Essence. ...

Fashion Time: Who are your favorite designers?

Daisy Lewellyn: Oh my, let me count the ways. Well, I absolutely adore Tracy Reese. Surprise surprise, I know, but I just am a total dress girl & Tracy gets it. I am also a fan of hers because she is one of the sweetest people that you could ever meet in NYC. Zac Posen is beyond a dream come true. Anything the man touches provides instant star quality! I also love Micheal Kors, I think he’s my favorite American designer. He’s such a jet setter! No matter what season he shows his collection, Spring or Fall, there is always a jetsetting element that stands alone. I’m all about a sunkissed glow year around, going away for a mini getaway with a beautiful boy! And Mr Michael’s collection scream this every season!!!

Sean "Diddy" Combs appears on the October cover for L'Uomo Vogue's Music Issue. In this story Mr. Combs talks enthusiastically about the upcoming presidential election, the importance of voting, his many successful businesses and the evolution of inspiration in creating music. Famed photographer, Mark Seliger, shot Mr. Combs in a variety of styles from a variety of designers including Tom Ford, Roberto Cavalli, Michael Kors, Ralph Lauren Black Label and Sean John, among others.

Sean "Diddy" Combs said, "The concept of "Black on Black" in this story represents a level of strength, a level of beauty, a level of sexy and chic that I really want to portray. It's the future. And it's not just a race thing; it's almost a redefinition of the color. Think about how ignorant people actually make the color black represent something negative. Black is so beautiful, I see it in everything I am, as a person, as a man, as a fashion professional. Black is beautiful."

Here's the press release:

SEAN “DIDDY” COMBS ACQUIRES FASHION LABEL ENYCE
FROM LIZ CLAIBORNE INC.
Combs and partner The Yucaipa Companies purchase popular streetwear brand with eye on massive expansion

October 21, 2008 (New York, NY) – Sean “Diddy” Combs and Liz Claiborne Inc. (NYSE: LIZ) announce today the purchase of fashion label ENYCE by Sean “Diddy” Combs. Founded in 1996, Enyce is a denim based sportswear brand offering knits, wovens, outerwear, and graphic tees for men and boys, as well as a successful “Big and Tall” and women’s line. Liz Claiborne purchased Enyce in 2003. Both companies will work together to ensure a smooth and orderly transition for retail partners, vendors and employees.

Founder and CEO of Sean John, Sean “Diddy” Combs said, “Enyce is a brand that I have always admired, and they have been a very important player in the young men’s sportswear arena for over a decade. I am really excited to bring it into our portfolio of brands that already includes Sean John and Zac Posen. Given our track record of success in marketing products such as Ciroc Vodka, Unforgivable by Sean John, and all of our television titles, I look forward to adding our expertise to an already hot fashion line. Our long-term plan is to grow the Enyce brand through innovative marketing, expansion of the menswear and boy’s lines, and launching into new licensing categories. The current economic climate may be challenging, but we believe it is also an opportunity, and we are really excited to add Enyce to our lineup.”

William McComb, Chief Executive Officer of Liz Claiborne Inc., commented, “As we continue to implement our strategy of building powerful brands, we determined that we can’t properly maximize the potential of Enyce. Enyce is a strong brand with a loyal customer following, however the unsettled economic environment and our commitment to properly resource and focus on other brands in our portfolio contributed to this decision. As a leading player in the young men’s market, Sean Combs has the expertise and resources to help Enyce endure this difficult period and ultimately thrive. We are pleased that Sean Combs has decided to purchase the brand.”

Liz Claiborne Inc. is in the process of determining the impact of the non-recurring cash charges, which will be insignificant to the Company’s cash flows, and non-cash charges associated with this transaction. The operating results of Enyce and the impact of this sale transaction will be presented as discontinued operations in the Company’s financial statements.

Dawn Richard from Danity Kane spoke with Essence.com and Usmagazine.com on the current state of the group and Diddy's decision to remove Aubrey O'Day and D. Woods from the lineup. There are some highly interesting remarks. Among them:

ESSENCE.COM: Diddy is a beast when it comes to whipping his groups into shape and his truth hurts. He already let Aubrey go and then D. Woods was a no-show last night. Have you spoken or plan to speak to any of the ladies?

RICHARD: No, I haven’t. Honestly, we really don’t talk that much, but I wish them the best of luck. I showed up, and as one person, I can only do so much. If they want to get in touch with me, they will because I totally support them and always will. All of this stuff affects us because these are our lives. Diddy tells us to try to save our group and some of us don’t show up? We’re making a serious statement to him about the future of this group by doing so.

"Puff did not like [O'Day's] image...where her image was going for the group," Dawn Richard - one of the three remaining bandmates - tells Usmagazine.com exclusively.

"It wasn't a personal thing," Richard continues, saying her sexy look (the singer posed topless in Complex last month) was alienating young fans.

"We had just did a signing with Dollhouse Teen, which is for 13, 14-year-old young girls," Richard says. "So we can't do that one day and then the next day do an obnoxious cover.... [Diddy] wants the fans, and he says he can't do that if we can continue to go in the direction that we were going."

From the press release:

With the future of Danity Kane still up in the air, Day26 pursuing their dreams and Donnie Klang working his way to the top, where do they go from here? MTV is extending the drama into 2009 with bonus episodes of the hit reality series "Making The Band." The saga will continue with the remaining members of Danity Kane, their label mates Day26 and Donnie Klang as they all embark on the next phases of their Bad Boy careers.

The extended season will pick-up where the last one left off…Following all the drama and turmoil from the cliffhanger on the live finale. Fans will catch-up with Day26 as they go out on their own and experience what it's like to be the opening act for more established recording artists. Can they stay focused and make it on their own without the support of their label mates? Donnie Klang will continue to strive and prove to Diddy that he has what it takes to be a solid solo artist and go on tour with more well known musical acts. Will the hectic pace of the music business put too much strain on Dawn and Que's romance or will it make their love stronger? The Danity Kane story will continue to unfold after Diddy's shocking decision to remove Aubrey and D. Woods from the group. Will the Band live on without them? Will Aubrey and D. Woods return to Danity Kane? The bonus episodes will follow MTV's favorite "Making The Band" artists as they give it all they have while trying to remain true to themselves in the process.

At last night's "Making The Band 4" live finale the anxiety was at an all time high. MTV News correspondent Sway hosted one of the most controversial season finales' in "Making The Band" history. Media mogul Diddy talked to fans and answered questions about his recent decision to shake up his platinum selling artists Danity Kane. The season finale ended bitter sweet, leaving Danity Kane fans shocked at the outcome and wondering what lies ahead. Day26 and Donnie Klang were speechless and concerned for their own futures after seeing how quickly their friends and label mates can go from being on top to struggling to stay in the game.

"Diddy is a master star maker and a genius at creating drama. With the cliffhanger ending on this season of 'Making the Band,' we just knew the saga had to continue," said Tony DiSanto, EVP Series Development & Programming, MTV. "There is so much more story to tell, amazing music and great drama to come. With Diddy you never quite know exactly what's next…But it's pretty certain you won't be able to take your eyes off!"

In a pair of articles by the AP, Diddy discusses some of the economic meaning behind the new Ciroc ad that features music by Frank Sinatra.

Sean "Diddy" Combs, the entertainment mogul who co-runs the Ciroc vodka brand with liquor company Diageo PLC (nyse: DEO - news - people ), hopes his new 30-second ad for the superpremium drink balances luxury and sophistication without the gratuitous excess and bling that for many Americans is no longer within reach.

"It's definitely being conscious of what's going on in the economy," he said. "But at the same time understanding that we do live in a strong country and that during the holidays, this is a time - if any time - for us to market the brand because people are going to need a break to celebrate."

The black-and-white ad, called "The Art of Celebration," shows sophisticated, refined times at home — not out in flashy clubs, Combs told The Associated Press on Monday. Given the economy, he said that could be a trend going forward.

We pick up back at Bad Boy in the meeting with Danity Kane and Diddy. Shannon asks if there is any chance that Aubrey can stay. Diddy says no, he doesn't like her energy, the style or direction of where she's going and what she does to the brand by wilding out and being overly raunchy and promiscuous. Does Shannon want to go with her? He says that she can have some time to think, if she wants to stay in the group.

He turns to D. Woods and says that she doesn't seem happy. She says no, she doesn't think anyone has been happy for a while. He says, OK, she can go, too? Is he sure about that, she asks? Yes, he's positive, he says. She says it's been a pleasure working under him and she's respecting her since she was growing up and she's sorry it came to his decision. He says that she has said she's not happy. She says that she doesn't think anyone, maybe including him, has been happy with the way that Danity Kane has been going for a while. Diddy, at this point, backs up a bit and says that he doesn't want D. Woods to catch any of her reality.

He turns to Aundrea and mentions how she wanted to leave, she has a chance now. She doesn't say anything and he says she's here because Aubrey was a part of the problem for her. She then says that she feels there isn't a group without the 5 of them. He says he's going to let them think about that. But, there will be a Danity Kane. It's right here, Aundrea says. It's not there anymore, Diddy says, this is not the vision he had for it.

D. Woods says that God put this group together and it's God will to decide what will happen and whether He's speaking through Diddy or- Diddy stops her and says not to bring God into it because with their petty stuff, they are disrespecting God.

On Saturday, I penned my analysis of what we saw on last week's episode of "Making the Band 4." It appears that Aubrey is out of the group and rumors have been flying around, saying that someone else (most often D. Woods) is also leaving. I don't put much stock in these rumors, most of which (if not all) are posted by unreliable sources. I have to wait and see what happens.

At the same time, when you're dealing with reality TV, you never know. I believe there is a lot of truth in what we saw. I don't think they would have just gone at each other for the sake of drama, not in that fashion. So, they have issues. I don't believe that's contrived. Even though it looks like Aubrey is definitely out of the group, I won't completely believe it until the end of Tuesday night's episode, when it will likely be made clear. In a bulletin from her MySpace, Danity Kane's Dawn Richard promised there would be answers.

"I know you guys want know whats going on with Danity Kane, all your questions will be answered," she said. What those answers will be, we'll have to wait and find out.

Hello and thank you for visiting Bad Boy Blog!

We just launched a new feature and I wanted to be the first to tell you about it. It's called Bad Boy Blog TV. The title kind of gives it away, but this section of the site will feature Bad Boy related videos, updated on a fairly regular basis. This will include news pieces, feature stories, interviews and more.

Some of the videos currently featured include a D. Woods photo shoot, the trailer for "Notorious," Diddy at Cannes and more. There will be some new stuff and some old stuff - it's a bit of a mix. It's not perfect - some unrelated clips may slip in there, but overall, I think it's a nice addition to the site and I hope you enjoy it. It's also an experiment, so we'll see how it goes.

Thank you for reading and, again, for visiting and supporting Bad Boy Blog.

I've had some time to digest Tuesday's episode of "Making the Band 4." For a full, detailed run down, please check out my live blog recap. Now, I'd like to go into a little more detail, analysis wise, speaking only of what we saw on the show and what we have seen play out in public, previously.

It's clear that the girls have had issues with one another, due to their own personality conflicts, insecurities and, in some cases, legitimate concerns. It's been going on, privately, for a while. Little has come out previously, but in July of 2007, there were some contentious messages sent from Dawn and Aubrey's MySpace pages. During the show on Tuesday, Dawn flat out said they don't trust one another. Aundrea blasted Aubrey, in a beat around the bush fashion, for her extracurricular activities. Aubrey had some comments that related to Dawn, as well.

All acts have their complete and total loyalists who feel they can do no wrong. Every group has them. Danity Kane is no exception. I read a lot of comments by Danity Kane fans feeling that they aren't handled correctly, that Diddy "doesn't know" how to promote them, that Bad Boy is a bad label to be signed to, and so on and so forth. With some fans, not all, but some... it's always something. And when something doesn't go right, it's always someone else. But, the reality is that Danity Kane, and most other acts on Bad Boy, have been promoted in at least a solid fashion, if not in a very good way.

There's a reason that people in and around the industry say that Diddy is a marketing genius. I'm not saying there haven't been missed opportunities and that some of them haven't been rather blatant (if not with Danity Kane, with other acts). I've been openly critical of some of Bad Boy's marketing efforts. But, at the end of the day, when you sit down and tally up the scoreboard - Danity Kane has been promoted more than nearly any act - not just on Bad Boy, but period. Almost every solo artist or group out there would kill for the level of promotion they've had.

In the last 24 hours or so, there have been some reports that Diddy had his arm in a sling - with the pictures to prove it, such as the one above. On the just ended, supposed season finale of "Making the Band 4," Diddy discussed the future of Danity Kane with the girls. Aubrey, once again, took a tone with Diddy and he flat out told her that he doesn't want her talking to him like that and he doesn't want her in the group. But, it's left right there - there will be another season finale next Tuesday at 9 PM ET. See my live blog for more.

I'll be live blogging the key moments of tonight's "Making the Band 4," season 3 finale. Just the key moments that jump out to me, though, so there won't be a ton of updates. Mainly, I want to cover the Danity Kane break up or lack of one!

The first part of the show has Diddy announcing, via video message, that he has one last mission for the groups and Donnie. They are to go to Cano San Lucas on his dime. They charter a private jet and arrive to a pair of incredible suites at the Westin.

Diddy's fit club finished with Diddy announcing that he had lost 4 pounds. While eating a salad, the nurse approaches him and he curses her out for bugging him when he's eating a salad. She leaves.

It turns out that Diddy didn't go to Cabo San Lucas as he needed to promote his album. They show some footage of him at TRL and at a CD signing.

Day26 and Danity Kane go to swim with Dolphins and Que isn't having it. He's not getting into the water with any fish, he says, especially one's that are bigger than him. He's definitely afraid. She finally gets a life jacket on, though. In confessional, Que says that the dolphin is about to eat him.

After Que watches them for a while, he eases up. Mike rides a dolphin and they laugh as Robert says, in private, that that was "one strong dolphin." Dawn finally pushes Que into touching the dolphin, but he immediately backs off. Then, he feeds one and, eventually, gets in the water - for Dawn, he says.

The groups celebrate Robert's birthday at an outdoor bar at the hotel. The groups also hired some traditional dancers, with D. Woods and Robert actually donning the garb before they share a cake (part of it gets pushed in Robert's face).

This is a great ad. Sinatra just feels right here. Nice choice.

From the press release:

DIDDY AND CÎROC VODKA PAY HOMAGE TO SINATRA IN NEW AD CAMPAIGN
Ol’ Blue Eyes Provides Soundtrack for Ultra-Premium Vodka’s New Spot

NEW YORK, October 7, 2008 – Diddy is bringing the art of “sophisticated celebration” to life on the small screen for the only ultra-premium vodka that truly embodies that spirit – CÎROC.

CÎROC, one of the world's only vodkas made from grapes, will debut a brand new advertising campaign this week featuring Sean “Diddy” Combs demonstrating the art of sophisticated celebration in a contemporary yet classic manner. Entitled “The Art of Celebration,” the campaign stars Combs with his modern interpretation of the “Rat Pack” celebrating with CÎROC as Frank Sinatra’s renowned “Come Fly With Me” plays throughout.

Shot in black and white at one of Sinatra’s former California homes, the 15- and 30-second commercials depict Combs as a high-spirited host amidst a chic crowd during an impromptu private house party. Combs is serving CÎROC while engaging with his modern-day “Rat Pack” entourage. Combs mingles, dances and jokes during the intimate party, before finally stealing a private moment to gaze into the night as the crowd enjoys a fun-filled evening inside.

"Frank Sinatra is one of my heroes. It was truly an honor to have had the opportunity to use Sinatra’s work and home for this campaign,” said Combs. "He defined sophisticated celebration as a lifestyle a generation ago. I couldn't imagine a spirit more appropriate for such occasions today than CÎROC, a brand that has become synonymous with celebration."

The spot represents a continuation of the brand’s commitment to defining “sophisticated celebration,” a concept Combs embodies and cultivates both personally and professionally as a lifestyle and entertainment icon. During the holiday season, the campaign will evolve to focus on one of the most important aspects of sophisticated celebration – safety.

“My friends are important to me,” added Combs. “Whenever we celebrate, I make sure we are celebrating responsibly. I hope that anyone who enjoys CÎROC and enjoys a sophisticated lifestyle does the same.”

Since announcing its strategic alliance with Combs almost a year ago, CÎROC has been growing significantly in size and continues to garner industry awards. It was recently ranked one of the top ultra-premium vodkas by the New Luxury Institute in their annual Luxury Brand Status Index (LBSI), a survey of wealthy consumers that measures brand prestige. It also won a prestigious Gold Medal at the 2008 San Francisco World Spirits Competition.

"I Want to Work for Diddy" just ended. The final elimination came on the tarmac as Diddy boarded a jet to Cannes for the film festival. Suzanne won the competition, boarding the plane with Diddy.

Mic walked away, obviously emotional. But, the jet stopped and the door open. Diddy emerged, calling Mic over. He told Mic that he has several companies, so he has a lot of room, why doesn't he join them on the plane?

And with that, the season ended with Suzanne and Mic as the winners. Stefanie was eliminated earlier in the show.

Congrats to Suzanne and Mic!

Kim, a.k.a. Poprah, was eliminated on tonight's episode of "I Want to Work for Diddy," at the very start. She spoke back to Diddy and had a bit of a tone with him, which is not going to fly, of course. Afterward, she spoke with Capricorn and Norma and they told her she was insubordinate. She disagreed, maintaining that she was overqualified and so on and so forth. She is really lucky to have lasted so long. They can only keep her on so long for drama sake.

I'm finally caught up on "I Want to Work for Diddy," just a day before tomorrow's season finale of the show. We have four remaining contestants. Let's discuss their chances.

1. Mic. I put Mic at the top because I feel he's shown himself to be someone who can get things done and can also keep up with Diddy. Physically, anyway (see the jog in the most recent episode). He can move, adapt, think fast. He may not have all of the tools, but at this point, I'd have to consider him to be the favorite.

2. Suzanne. She's had a great performance overall. I think she's had some momentarily slip ups in the recent shows, but I think she's made the best of a bad situation (i.e., being partnered with Kim) more than once and she's weathered the storm.

3. Stefanie. I'd be satisifed with any of the top 3 winning. I put Stefanie third because I don't think she's as ready as the other two, experience wise. Also, on the jog... she got tired fairly quickly. Not that she needs to be a world class sprinter, but that was kind of a bad showing. It was funny when she told Mic that there was "somebody" to talk to him and Diddy said he's not somebody, he's Mr. Combs. heh.

4. Kim. She just can't win. Not after all of the dirty tricks. And, in the first day with Diddy, she did pretty poorly. And she mouthed off to him at the end of the episode. We are left with the cliffhanger of her potentially being fired. She probably was, but they let it slip to the next episode for drama.

So, that's my take. What's yours? Who is your favorite?

Here's the first half of the interview in audio form. This is just the raw audio taken from the phone call, so the quality isn't that great. I also had some technical difficulties that degraded the quality a little more than normal. Still, if you're a fan of Donnie, I'm sure you'll enjoy it.
