Singersroom reports that, according to a network source, Diddy and Aretha Franklin are talking about partnering on an "American Idol" type reality show where Diddy and Franklin will select the winner, rather than putting it out for a public vote as "Idol" does. Treat this as an unconfirmed rumor at this point. I usually wouldn't mention it, but Singersroom is generally pretty solid. I'm trying to see what I can find out. Stay tuned.
StarMaker, Diddy's latest reality TV project, will be premiering on MTV on January 26, according to
his MySpace. Through the show, he will be searching for both male and female solo artists, from any genre of music.
