The Making His Band MySpace page has an
updated FAQ, including the song list (subject to change), that they'll be using for auditions.
Over at the Making His Band MySpace page, they have
posted a logo for the show and an
FAQ for those interested in participating. If you are interested in auditioning, here are the
audition dates.
Updating a
previous report, the audition locations for the upcoming Diddy/MTV show, "Making His Band," have been announced.
Through "Making His Band," Diddy will be putting together a group of people to back him up on tour - guitarists, bassists, keyboardists, drummers and backup singers, both male and female.
Here are the audition locations and dates. At each venue, the auditions begin at 10:00 AM local time with the line beginning at 7 AM.

You must be 18 or older and bring valid I.D. If you are auditioning for a spot on guitar or bass, they want you to bring your instruments. If you are a drummer, bring your sticks. And, if you play keyboard or sing, you don't need to bring anything.
Finally, the show has launched a

The awards were last night and "A Raisin in the Sun"
collected 3 victories, sweeping the television movie, mini-series or dramatic special categories.
The film itself won in the "Outstanding Television Movie, Mini-Series or Dramatic Special" category, Diddy collected the "Outstanding Actor in a Television Movie, Mini-Series or Dramatic Special" award and Phylicia Rashad was the "Outstanding Actress in a Television Movie, Mini-Series or Dramatic Special." Congratulations to everyone involved.

On the season premiere of Making the Band 4, Diddy announced that they are now in pre-production on a brand new show called "Making His Band." He gave the URL of
makinghisband.mtv.com. From the site:
Do you want to go on tour with Diddy? He's recording his final album, "Last Train to Paris," he's looking for an all-star band to back him up on tour, and YOU could be a part of it!
They will be holding auditions, in March, in Los Angeles, Chicago, Detroit and New York City.
The show airs tonight at 9 PM ET on MTV.
