Over at the MTV Remote Control Blog, Zach Berkman discusses his elimination from "P. Diddy's StarMaker" on last night's episode.
Starmaker was a fantastic place to get my first taste of stardom, and if anything, it only whetted my appetite. I hope that as an artist, a producer and a writer, my hard work will lead to further success. Best of luck to the rest of the contestants.
On tonight's episode of "P. Diddy's StarMaker," Zach Berkman was eliminated. It came down to him and Jordan Battiste. The judges said that Todd Sarvies was the best act of the night. The rest of the contestants advanced with the ladies having the week off.

In the preview below, from the third episode of "P. Diddy's StarMaker," Laurie Ann Gibson tells contestant Jordan Battiste that he needs to work on his vocals. Check out the clip below for a sneak peak of the third episode of "P. Diddy's StarMaker." Basically, it's Angel Inez and Melody Angel complaining about the judges praise of Monet Monico. It's not what one would call a good look. Whether or not they agreed with the choice of Monet and the judges' conclusions, this sort of thing never looks good.
There have been three deleted scenes released by MTV for episode two of "P. Diddy's StarMaker."
In the first one, Pete Wentz meets the contestants backstage and offers a little bit of advice.

On tonight's episode of "P. Diddy's StarMaker," Marissa Renee Shipp was eliminated from the competition. Only the ladies sung this week with the men safe from elimination.
There were six songs available and Ms. Renee gave up her initial song choice to Lauriana Mae, who did not feel comfortable singing Miley Cyrus' "7 Things." In the end, that's not an excuse, certainly - but, it would be the end of the competition for her. The other five ladies advanced. Renee exited graciously, thanking Diddy for the opportunity.
In the clip below, a sneak peak at the next episode of "P. Diddy's StarMaker," Melody Angel tries to perform her own rendition of Kelly Clarkson's "Because of You." But, it doesn't draw good reviews.
Jason Gonulsen of Metromix St. Louis has an interview with Todd Sarvies, one of the contestants on "P. Diddy's StarMaker."
Do you think he has a good understanding of the music you’re playing though?
You know, Diddy’s been around for a long time. He’s seen a lot of musicians come and go. I’m sure he’s very familiar with everything. I don’t think he’s necessarily worked with anything along the lines of what I do, but I think that’s the point of all this—trying to get to new markets.
And there’s still mutual respect for just being an artist.
Definitely. I think there is a mutual respect for just being a musician. Like I said, Diddy’s been there and done that, and he’s been doing it for a long time.
In the video clip below from Yahoo! TV, Liz Davis receives praise from guest judge Pete Wentz on an episode of "P. Diddy's StarMaker." This provides a little bit of a clue or spoiler as we know that Davis will make it at least as long as the episode where Wentz is featured. It's unclear when that one will be airing.
MTV has released a sneak peak at the second episode of "P. Diddy's StarMaker." Check it out below.

The two singers that the judges felt did the best were David Bennett and Melody Angel.
