Some of the credits for Dirty Money's "Coming Home," which premiered in snippet form on tonight's broadcast of game 4 of the World Series, have been revealed.

According to Diddy, the song was produced by Alex Da Kid (back in June, he spoke about working with Diddy) and Jay-Z.

Alex Da Kid was a little more specific on his Twitter. He said that he did the beat, Jay-Z did the verses and Skylar Grey did the book. The featured artist, whose name I couldn't read on my TV, was Skylar Grey.

A version of the record (which included references to Diddy's life, meaning it was most likely a reference vocal) from Roc Nation rapper J. Cole appeared online yesterday. But, J. Cole's verses are different from the ones rapped by Diddy in a full version of the track that has been posted online. That would make sense, given the fact that Jay-Z wrote or co-wrote Diddy's rapped verses on the record.

In the clip below, Diddy riffs a bit on the meaning of Dirty Money's "Last Train to Paris." But, the part of the clip that caught my attention was some snippets of some new music. Check it out.

As I reported earlier today, the new Dirty Money single "Coming Home" was featured during Fox's broadcast of game 4 of the World Series.

It was featured as part of the opening to the show, which included a mix of footage of the two teams playing in the game and some of Dirty Money performing to the record. It was, approximately 10-15 seconds of the record. Hard to decide whether you like a track or not from such a small clip, but I look forward to hearing the full record.

One final note: the record had a featured artist, but the text was so small on my television that I could not read it. I'll report back when I find out who it was.

Edit: The featured artist is Skylar Grey. Read this follow up for more info on the track.

Hit Quarters has an interview with Bad Boy A&R director Daniel "Skid" Mitchell. He talks about the business, his future projects, Janelle Monae and more, in addition to a small update on Cassie's project.

Cassieís upcoming second album for Bad Boy looks like itíll be moving beyond the confines of a particular genre. Can you reveal what the current status is with it?

Sheís working on it. Itís in progress. She did about 50 records - she has a lot of songs - and sheís just still working on it, taking her time. She wants it to be something that people are going to respect, and sheís just really trying to have fun with her next album.

She has improved a lot vocally, and her sound is more of a custom sound for her. Her first album ( ĎCassieí) was mostly Ryan Leslie produced and written, and with this next album she has different producers, different writers, some stuff sheís been co-writing, and so itís more personal for her.

Levi's has brought on Janelle Monae to help them spread the word about their new online community for young women, Shape What's to Come. They taped the "Music as a Means to Unite" feature, which you can watch below, and Monae will participate in a live videocast on November 3 at 4 PM ET.

If you'd like to submit questions for Ms. Monae for the interview, please leave them in the comments below. I'll pick as many as five and send them off to a representative from Edelman Digital, who is working with Levi's on this campaign. The odds of them being asked are not great (every publication they reached out to is allowed to submit as many as 5 and then from all of the questions that are submitted from all of the publications, only 3 are selected), but you never know. Try to make it a good one!

Edit: We are no longer able to accept questions. Thank you.

On Saturday, I wrote about the various signs that were pointing to i SQUARE being the latest act signed to Bad Boy and the first announced signing of the partnership between Diddy and Damon Thomas that created The Pentagon.

This has now been confirmed. Group member Destiny confirmed it to me via Twitter and this was followed by the release of the "Hey Sexy Lady" music video, which ends with "copyright 2010 PENTAGON/BAD BOY/INTERSCOPE RECORDS."

The group is comprised of three males - Mike J, Briddy and 10Bets - and one female, Destiny. According to their Facebook page, they formed in 2009 at Babyface's Brandon Way studios in Los ANgeles. At the time, Mike J was producing and writing and Briddy was interning. Thomas suggested they worked together and the other two members were brought in after that.

The about page on their website lists all of their individual Twitter profiles (collectively, they are @isquaremusic) describes some of their influences and says that the group makes "music that celebrates YOU, and encourages you to have FUN with life."

Previously, I reported that both i SQUARE's debut album and their lead single "Hey Sexy Lady" were both executive produced by Diddy.

In the "Hey Sexy Lady" piece, I noted that the group was said to be signed to The Pentagon/Interscope.

Why was this important? Well, it was 13 months ago when Damon Thomas revealed that he had entered into a joint label venture with Diddy and Interscope. The name of that venture? The Pentagon.

I noticed, last night, that a number of websites are referring to the group as a "The Pentagon/Bad Boy/Interscope" act. Where did this come from? Well, the source appears to be a press release/bio-type message issued on the group's Facebook page. If you click the "Info" tab, you will see that it plainly says, in the first paragraph that the group's lead single was released via "Pentagon/Bad Boy/Interscope."

17: Diddy is your mentor. What's it been like working with him?
iSquare: He's like a big brother to us. He's taught us a lot, like when it comes to photo shoots and stuff like that, he'll tell us, "Nah, that's not too hot." But he's very cool and humble and keeps us humble, so we rock with him a lot.

Earlier today, Diddy released "Fountain Bleu" by the Bugatti Boyz for free download. I suspected it was spelled Fontaine Bleau, after the resort in Miami. Sure enough, the single cover below has that spelling.

You'll note that Masspike Miles is mentioned on the cover. But, he wasn't on the version posted earlier today. According to Spiff TV, the official version does feature the Maybach Music artist and you can listen to it at OnSMASH. You can't download it as the version they are offering is the one without Miles. But, the embeddable player on their site does feature the right version. When I find a legitimate download, I'll post an update. The record was produced by The Olympicks.

A little deja vu, perhaps? Sheek Louch of The Lox told Vibe that the group has agreed to terms with Diddy and Bad Boy, but that they need Interscope and Ruff Ryders to release their respective shares of the group.

It has been over a year and a half since Jadakiss revealed that Diddy had offered the group a return to their former label. In that time, we've learned that Diddy wanted to do a one album deal and only a one album deal with them. In January, Styles P said that they were talking to Diddy and no one else. But, in May, Jadakiss seemed less than certain they'd end up at Bad Boy.

Their first exit from Bad Boy followed protests on their behalf to "let The Lox go," including t-shirts and a public war of words. Diddy eventually agreed to a buyout from Interscope, and the group signed with them.

"Shades," a record that appeared online last month featuring Lil' Wayne and Justin Timberlake also features singer Bilal. Back in May, we learned that Bilal would be featured on the set and now we know at least one specific record that he is on.

On Monday (it appears, anyway), a fake statement from Nicki Minaj appeared online. It is unclear, at this point, where the statement originated, but MTV UK picked it up, among others. But, it read:

By now, everyone should now [sic] that I am really strict when it comes to my representation. I had sympathy for Sean however I feel as if I havenít gotten the guidance the manager is supposed to give his client. Personally, I feel like I'm being managed by mother. Even if you play the smallest role on my team, I wish to see progress. Iíd like to thank him for everything he has done for me; for taking me under his wing. I wish him the best with repping Rick [Ross]. But now that my album is about to drop, its time to get serious and stop playing games. If I could turn back time... I wouldn't have made the decision to let Troy go.

It goes without saying that this is a pretty strange statement. Beyond the grammar issues and it coming across as a bit unprofessional, this would seem like a weird way to confirm that Diddy has been managing her, something that neither Minaj and Young Money, nor Diddy and Bad Boy, have done. Billboard reported in April that Diddy was managing Minaj, along with James Cruz. Part of the story, beyond the statement, was that Benny Medina was now managing her. Medina had managed Diddy previously.

But, sure enough, Minaj shot the statement down via Twitter.

"LMAO," she wrote. "I've never met Benny Medina a day in my life. We good on this side."

Miss Info says that, according to members of Minaj's "inside circle," the story is inaccurate.

The BET Hip-Hop Awards 2010 aired this evening and Diddy picked up the win in the "Hustler of the Year" category.

As I reported in September, Dirty Money's "Hello Good Morning (Remix)" and DJ Khaled's "All I Do is Win (Remix)" featuring Diddy were both nominated in the "Reese's Perfect Combo Award" category (also known as "Best Collaboration"). But, they came up short, to Jay-Z's "Empire State of Mind" with Alicia Keys.

"Hello Good Morning" was nominated for "Best Club Banger," with the award going to Rick Ross' "B.M.F." But, it was a cool moment as Diddy went up on stage with him and Ross mentioned both Bad Boy and Ciroc in his short acceptance speech.

"Once again, it's on," he said. "Team Rozay. Maybach Music. Def Jam. Ciroc Boyz. Bad Boy. We here. CMB forever. Free Weezy."

Diddy, Rick Ross and DJ Khaled opened the show with a performance of the song, with Diddy and Khaled helping with the ad-libs and sharing the hypeman role. After "B.M.F.," they did Ross' "MC Hammer," with a break at the end where MC Hammer came out to perform a small portion of "Too Legit to Quit." They all appeared on stage briefly and the show had began.
