On Twitter, French Montana shared photos by Ivan Berrios from his new music video for "Diamonds" featuring J. Cole and Rick Ross. DJ Khaled makes a cameo appearance.
At the time, Mase said he had his "freedom." But, I asked then, "from what, exactly?" Diddy doesn't seem like the type to just sign random papers, so I doubted that it was a full release from contractual obligations.
It turns out that was true. In an interview with MTV's RapFix Live, Mase revealed that Diddy had agreed to dissolve his contract, even though it had not yet been fulfilled.
Update: The video has now been marked private. Even though it had been up for 9 months, apparently the wave of press prompted someone to say they didn't want it out yet.
9 months ago, Los Angeles-based film maker Thrilliam posted the music video he shot of Cassie for the song "End of the Line." But, it seems like literally no one realized he had posted it until today, when fans started to share it and outlets began to pick it up. For this reason, it is unclear if this is the song's official music video or just a creative clip shot by Thrilliam.
DRE Films tweeted that a music video would be coming for French Montana's "Tic Toc," which features Trina. It will be directed by Jon J. of Dre Films/Maybach Films. The song was featured on Montana's "Mac & Cheese 3" mixtape.
DJ Scream is offering a free download of the new Wale and French Montana collaboration, "Back 2 Ballin." Both Wale and Montana retweeted DJ Scream's update. The song was produced by Cheeze (not to be confused with Cheeze of Montana's Coke Boys collective).
According to a press release, Ciroc and Rick Ross have agreed to continue working together, with Ross as an ambassador for the brand.

Machine Gun Kelly performance of "Invincible" at the mtvU Woodie Awards has been voted as the Best 2012 MTV Live Performance. It was a close race with MGK besting All Time Low's performance of "For Baltimore" at Buzzworthy Live.
Janelle Monae had also been nominated in the category, for performance of "We Are Young" with fun. at the 2012 MTV VMAs.

MTV is collecting votes in various categories for their The Big & Best of 2012" live stream, which will happen on December 12 at 12 PM ET. Machine Gun Kelly and Janelle Monae are both up in the Best 2012 MTV Live Performance category.
Machine Gun Kelly's official store has added a new t-shirt. The white shirt says "I'm Laced Up." in large letters, with a small MGK logo at the bottom. The nominees for the 55th GRAMMY Awards have been announced. "We Are Young," fun.'s monster hit with Janelle Monae, picked up 3 nominations. The song is included in the Record of the Year, Song of the Year and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance categories. The GRAMMY Awards will air on February 10 at 8 PM ET on CBS.
