In the last few days,
we've been mentioning some good, free, legal music goodness coming from
Cheri Dennis' Twitter account.
Unfortunately, some of the music was not given a file extension and needed to be set to be a .wma file instead of .mp3. Since a lot of people don't know how to do this, this led to some fans being unable to listen to the tracks. So, I decided to offer to help Ms. Dennis tonight, by offering to convert the songs to .mp3 and put them all in one easy to download package. She took me up on the offer and
here it is. The package includes "Flight 2304," "Sabotage," "Look No More," "Use 2," "Back Up" (a track I like a lot!), "Ride Out" and "Let's Get Down."
Download now and enjoy!
On
Cheri Dennis' Twitter, she's made "Flight 2034" available for
free download.
"Making His Band," the new reality show where Diddy will be putting together a band to support him on an upcoming tour, will premiere on July 27 at 10 PM ET on MTV.
Thanks to
Curtis for the tip.
On
Tiwtter, Cheri Dennis provided some
more tracks for download. They are
"Use 2",
"Back Up" and
"Ride Out."
Cheri Dennis' MySpace features several new tracks from the singer, including one that hints at a mixtape. They are "Flight 2034," "Sabotage," "Look No More," "Use 2," "Back Up," "Ride Out" and "Down." "Back Up," at least, had previously circulated online.
Cheri Dennis is now on Twitter with the username
cheridennis. This has been confirmed with the label.
Cheri Dennis will be hosting a party at Runway at 4 E 28th Street in NYC on May 4. See the flier below.
My copy of the Japanese version of "In and Out of Love" just arrived. This version has two bonus tracks. They are "Freak" featuring Diddy and "Ooh La La" featuring G. Dep. It's interesting to me how they went with the no rap version of "Freak" (Babs had appeared on the original single version), but stuck with the rap version of "Ooh La La". Neither rapper remains with the label.
The Japanese booklet notes that "Freak" was produced by Chris Henderson, Sean "P. Diddy" Combs and Stevie J while "Ooh La La" was produced by Ryan Leslie and co-produced by Richard "Younglord" Frierson.
Update: Here are the full credits as requested by Luke
in the comments.
