09/09: Katie Lee: I Wasn't Going to White Party
A while back, it was
reported that Katie Lee, Billy Joel's wife, was blocked from entering the most recent White Party because she did not meet the dress code. She says that she
wasn't going to the party:
One person who had no need for the rapper mogul? Katie Lee Joel. As word reached news outlets in India and New Zealand about how Mrs. Billy Joel was turned away from Diddy's white party for wearing cream, she herself laughed.
"I was only dropping off house guests before I went out to dinner! They denied me from a party I wasn't even going to," Joel told us at the Entertainment Weekly party at the SoHo Grand. "This whole thing has gotten blown way out of proportion."
