01/22: Fat Joe Cuts Diddy Track From Album?
Last week,
MTV ran an article (cache) describing a track with Diddy called "Party All the Time". The song, produced by Danja, would sample the Eddie Murphy track of
the same name. Previously,
MTV had reported that Diddy would sing on the Fat Joe album.
After the article went up however, MTV
updated it to note:
Since Joe interviewed with us earlier in the week, the "Party All the Time" cover has been removed from his album. Joe has recorded a number of songs for his opus and is still finalizing it.
Unfortunately, this would make it seem like Diddy will not appear on his album. I've submitted a request to Fat Joe's new distribution home, Imperial Records, for comment.
