12/29: Elephant Man Expresses Sadness Over Murder of Jamaican Dancer Ice
Back in August, I reported on the controversy between Elephant Man and Jamaican dancer Ice, who had claimed that he had not been properly compensated for creating the "Gully Creepa" dance that he had worked to create. The criticism was specifically aimed at Ele, who he said had shortchanged him.
Sadly,
Ice was shot early on Friday morning, according to The Jamaica Observer. They have reaction from Ele.
"Right now I hardly can find words to express how I feel," said ... Elephant Man.
"To see that the dancer was just enjoying his life and to see this happening to him is very tragic and the whole entertainment fraternity - the entertainers and the dancers - are all mourning," said Elephant Man, who helped popularise the Gully Creeper with a recording.
