Diddy's intro starts off with him plugging their sponsor, Sean John. He says that MTV hates when he plugs his brand, but he doesn't care because it's his show. He talks about how he kicked the guys out of the studio and how he wants to see them connect to the music with their soul and get back to the studio.

The guys are at vocal training with Ankh Ra. Michael Bivins drops in. He tells them to act like Puff is always in the room. If Puff flips out, they should look at it like, that's my business partner, am I doing what I need to do on my end? He tells them not to be the good TV group that breaks.

Willie and Donnie come to the studio and visit with Danity Kane. Donnie and Aubrey are hanging out. Dawn refers to them as Barbie and Ken. She's not real sure about it. Donnie talks, in private, how he wants to get to know her better, on a one on one basis, aside from the crazy party side. They make a date.

At night at the guy's hotel, the guys find out that Donnie's headed on a date and he tells them it's with Aubrey. They joke with him a bit. Robert asks him if he likes her and he says he's not sure, he wants to get to know her. Donnie leaves and walks over and picks her up. They walk to an Italian restaurant.

Of course, they talk and get to know each other. Both of them had divorced parents at a young age - Donnie at 5, Aubrey had 3 or 4. She tells him that his world is going to change and that he needs to do him - and all the little kids will be wearing Abercrombie & Fitch. Eventually, they head out. He mentions that the Abercrombie & Fitch store is up ahead and he would know, she says. They get back to where the girls are staying - they kiss and say good night.

Back with the guys, they are having a lot of fun with him and the fact that they kissed. The guys are looking for something to do now that Donnie is back. Even though Donnie just got back, he's headed out, too. He says that, for the past few days, they've had plans to go out with some of the girls that they met when they first got to New York. Three girls show up at the door and Donnie greets them with hugs and kisses on the cheek.

The guys get out and Robert and Donnie are both with a girl. The others don't have anyone, so Q calls up Dawn and says to come over. Apparently, Aubrey says, he invited her as well, telling her that Donnie is out on a date. (Q has a sick sense of humor). Q and Willie know what's coming and they are laughing. Brian decides he's just not going to get involved in this mess. Dawn and Aubrey arrive.

Aubrey asks if this is your girlfriend? She's mad. He asks her if she's serious and she says "So serious." Q's feeling bad now because neither Aubrey and Donnie are taking it as a joke. Aubrey's getting madder and nastier. Donnie says, in private, that he's not flirting with the girl or doing anything with her, just talking with her. She starts interrogating Michael, if he would do that to a girl he was with. In private, he says, who gives a damn? If he takes his mother out after he takes her out, that's a date, too. Michael's funny, I like him. After saying that she'll "beat somebody's a**" if she takes a shot, she leaves and Donnie wonders what he ever did to Q?

The guys are back at the hotel and Donnie is talking with Brian about how he's disappointed with Q. Q comes out and asks Donnie if he's mad at him. They confront each other. Donnie says he doesn't know if he can trust him. Q continues to stress that it was no big deal. He also tries to include people on it like they were with him on the joke, when really only Willie (who is quiet and trying to sleep) was laughing. Brian takes issue with this, telling Q not to include him in it. Q insists and Brian continues to argue with him. They go back and forth and there are some insinuations as to it escalating to something physical, but it dies down after Willie says that if he doesn't get any sleep, there is going to be a fight, so the camera guys should keep the cameras handy. Most of the guys laugh and that's the last we see of this confrontation.

It's a snowy day in New York and Diddy notes that he's looking a little pale. He's ready to get his plane ready and head to Miami. He brings everyone down with him. He says it's time to make records - he's got all of the best producers in the studio, ready to go.

He meets with all of them, welcoming them to Miami. He's moving them into a nice house, but they will all be living in the same house. Michael says that he's never lived in a house with five girls before - he hopes it's not like living with 19 dudes. lol. And off they go, Diddy will check in with them later.

They get to the house and, of course, it's beautiful. They're soaking it up, amazed at what they see. There is a Danity Kane portrait (and probably portraits of the others, but we don't see it). Robert says that he's never even seen a crib as nice as this on MTV cribs. Donnie and Q seem to have made up as Donnie and him are smiling and loving the new place.

Aubrey talks with the girls about what happened with Donnie. She says that she felt it was disrespectful and she wants to let him know. So, they meet on the dock at the place. He tells her that whatever happened on their date was real. And she wants him to apologize for what he did, but he won't as he feels he did nothing wrong. He does apologize if she took it the wrong way, but that's not what she wants. She feels that they need to have a certain respect for each other as artists. If he wants to do this sort of stuff, she says, he can do it with "regular" girls, which she says she's not. Donnie says it's important to him not to have any bad blood with anyone - he just wants to get along and have fun down in Miami. She says that's fine, but that her friendship takes time.

Though I'm not a big Aubrey fan, I can see her point and how it gives people something to talk about. She doesn't own Donnie, but he shouldn't have handled it like that. i.e. minutes after Donnie was out with Aubrey, he was out with someone else. It's not a wise thing to do.

Ankh Ra shows up at the house to put the guys through some vocal training. He's trying to get through to them. He tells Willie to stop worrying about being perfect and stay in the moment. Willie says, "What does that mean?" And the guys laugh. Ankh is not amused. He tells them to take it seriously.

Diddy pops up, all of a sudden and brings everyone together. He talks about getting to the next level and he wants to see who can bring it, especially with the girls. Shannon sings first, telling him that he needs to smile a bit. He throws up a mock smile (lol) and Shannon sings. He applauds after she's done, telling her it was the best he's ever heard her sing. The girls all sing and they all do really well, apparently. Q notices how they are singing with a real connection to the song and he wants to sing that way, he says. Aubrey sings a song about love, about being lonely. The guys smile a bit, possibly wondering if it is somehow tied to Donnie? Though, no one says it. Diddy says it's a blessing to work with such a talented group (Danity Kane) and work to get the most out of them.

Diddy sends the girls out of the room, but tells the guys to stay put. He tells them how he pulled them out of the studio because he felt it was premature for them to be in there, with their level of experience. He hopes to create a certain style with them where when it hits you, it makes you feel a certain way. He sent them to work with Ankh, to get them back in the studio. It's time to see how far they've come.

They get up and perform the ballad version of "Exclusive (No Excuses)". He stops them and tells them he knows they can make it sound good, he wants to feel it. They go again and he just watches. Diddy stops again and tells them that they are too conscious about the way they are looking and that their hands are just right and that their facial expressions are just right. He tells them that this is soul music, they need to be more raw. This is kind of what Ankh was saying. He wants goosebumps and he's not feeling it.

Another go and Willie's giving Diddy and Ankh what they are looking for. Robert steps in. (Diddy holds a cane, apparently still on the mend from foot surgery). The guys continue and Ankh is smiling as apparently the guys are stepping it up. Diddy is stone, though bobbing his head slowly. Diddy says that that was good. He tells them that they are going back in the studio to give it a go, but he's not going to waste time in there. They are going to have to deliver.

Next episode: The girls are complaining about the direction of their album, to Slam and Conrad Dimanche. Conrad talks about how many artists make that mistake and ruin their career (what mistake that is, we're not sure). Finally, Diddy and the girls are in a room, one on one and Diddy says sometimes they need to have it out, so lets do it. He asks Aubrey if she has anything to say - she talks so much while he's away, but she has nothing to say? We see only quiet.
