Back in April of 2006, we learned that Bad Boy owned the city of New York for plastering posters around said city.

Over four years later, Diddy's name is in the headline of an article by Erin Einhorn at the Daily News, with city officials claiming that Bad Boy still (not Diddy) owes them $996,000 for the poster cleanup.

According to the writeup, a spokesman for Bad Boy called the bill a "bureaucratic error" and said that it had been paid by a partner company three years ago. Meanwhile, a city spokesman responded by saying their lawyers are reviewing the issue.

Einhorn says that Bad Boy is among "thousands" that owe the city $1.9 billion. The alleged $996,000 that Bad Boy (not Diddy) owes the city is 0.052421052631578945% of the $1.9 billion. That's right, 0.05%. It's unclear if the city actually named him specifically or if the Daily News simply picked him out of a list released by the city and included him in the headline to draw readers. But, either way, it seems odd and sensationalist.
