If you're familiar with French Montana, chances are that you've heard him say "Coke Boys" before. In his music, in interviews and elsewhere. The Montana led group features Flip, Cheeze, Chinx Drugs and Charlie Rock. In addition, on the Billboard charts, the rapper's songs are listed under Coke Boys/Mizay/Bad Boy.

The Coke Boys label is about to go a little farther as Montana has signed an endorsement deal with Coca-Cola.

As part of the agreement, he will release a Coca-Cola inspired song, aptly titled "Coke Boys," which will be featured in a television and radio campaign. Once Montana drops his "Excuse My French" album this summer, Coca-Cola will serve as the presenting sponsor for his tour when he goes on the road to support the album.

This is not the first time that the company has worked with a Bad Boy artist. They signed a similar deal with Janelle Monae for their "Open Happiness" campaign in 2009.

According to a source close to the negotiations, talks stalled when Coca-Cola executives grew bewildered by Montana's use of the word "Coke" and in determining whether or not he was implying a positive association with their beverage or with cocaine. A call from Diddy is said to have helped finalize the details.

Company executives, Montana and Diddy will all be on hand when the deal is officially announced later this month at a press conference in Atlanta.
