This caused me to look for some additional footage, which I found care of Rap Radar. It's a long clip, over a half hour, but unlike the clip above, it features (a lot of) Cassie.
"We put them all in a room, just a big mirrored box surrounded by cameras, and let them try the collection," Carrigan told us. "The ck one collection is not about wearing clothes the way you've been told, it's about making them your own. We put the pieces in there in all sizes, from XXXL to XS; it's not about the perfect size - it's a play on proportion and androgyny. Girls were wearing jeans that were baggy and far too big, or wearing oversized shirts as dresses, they made the collection their own. It's the personalisation of fashion - and the campaign is really just a reportage of them trying the clothes."
CocoPerez.com has a quick video preview that Cassie calls "just a taste." The campaign will officially kick off on March 1.
The last few months have been a little crazy and, as such, we have been focusing on high level stories - or stories that happened to cross my desk - here at Bad Boy Blog. At the same time, being a comprehensive source, I at least wanted to summarize some of the stories that fell through the cracks during this time. Check out some of them below.
Cassie Record "Whatcha Gonna Do" Appears Online
Back in December, a Cassie record titled "Whatcha Gonna Do" popped up online. On Twitter, Cassie said that the track was probably recorded in early 2007 and produced by Bryan-Michael Cox. She said it was done at the same time as "2 The Morning."
Rap-Up.com reports that Cassie will play the love interest to Wiz Khalifa in the rapper's "Roll Up" music video. It was shot in Venice Beach, CA on Wednesday.
They also spoke with Khalifa and asked him how she came to be involved. Watch below, starting at the 0:47 mark.
Ben Beaumont-Thomas of the Guardian Music Blog files an interesting article on Cassie's growing following in the dance and electronic circles, highlight a number of DJs and producers who have saw fit to unofficially remix her tracks. Robin Carolan, who operates theTri Angel record label, even tattooed himself with a design inspired by the singer's biggest hit, "Me & U."
