The Philadelphia Daily News talked with Joc on the Screamfest performance on his upcoming August 23 in Philadelphia.
"I plan on giving Philly a lot of love," said Joc, the flagship artist for Diddy's Bad Boy South Label. "My show will be intriguing and energetic. I'll come with different elements and techniques that I will use to wow the crowd. I don't just rap; I might bring a monkey on stage, or I may bring three toddlers on stage.
"I'm real spontaneous about my show."
From The Gainesville Sun:
In the midst of his national ScreamFest 07 hip-hop tour, rapper Yung Joc also known as Jasiel A. Robinson, 24, of College Park, Ga. made a stop at the Rotary Southeast Boys and Girls Club in Gainesville Tuesday to offer a few motivating words to the students.
"Today, it was not a concert, just the kids and him, no bodyguards or anything," said Britney Carter, the events specialist at the SE Boys and Girls Club.
Joc and Rockport have launched a talent search where you can win the opportunity to work with Joc. SOHH.com has the story.
The search launched in Detroit today (August 16) and will make stops in New York, Philadelphia, Baltimore, and Atlanta, where contestants will battle it out for the chance to work closely with Yung Joc and his team.

The second single off of "Hustlenomics" has been decided. It's "Bottle Poppin" featuring Gorilla Zoe. As I write, the help Joc pick his next single poll on his MySpace stands as such:
"Bottle Poppin" - 41%
"Hell Yeah" - 35%
"Play Your Cards" - 24%
You can listen to a snippet of this from his MySpace.
From the press release put out today:
In addition to its CD and digital release, "HUSTLENOMICS" will mark Bad Boy Records' first-ever release in the new MVI format.
