Artists like Diddy, 50 Cent and Missy Elliott could lend their names to an even wider range of merchandise under a deal between Warner Music and talent agency Violator Management.
The companies are forming Brand Asset Group, which will be headed by Violator boss Chris Lighty, Warner officials said yesterday.

Here is the cover for B5's upcoming album, "Don't Talk, Just Listen". I like it.
Bad Boy will be holding another Upfronts event soon - June 18th, to be exact. It'll be in Atlanta at the Lotus Lounge. The event is closed to the public (it's intended for members of the media). Hopefully we'll have some news to report shortly after it happens.
Updating a previous story, Cheri Dennis was arrested. You can see the online public record on the Hillsborough Country Sheriff's Office website. She was arrested on June 9 at 3:24 AM. The charge description is "OBSTRUCTING OR OPPOSING AN OFFICER WITHOUT". She was released at 10:34 AM on a $500 bond.

BallerStatus.com has an interview with Yung Joc.
BallerStatus.com: The East is notorious for starting and ending careers with rap battles. Why do you think the South has always been more concerned with having fun then duking it out on wax?
Yung Joc: Yeah, we want to have a good time and get this money. You know, trying to knock a n---- out his position to gain a position, f--- that man. There's enough money for all of us. Here it is: I'm one of the newest inductees in the Top 20 Highest Paid Rappers of '06 in Forbes magazine. If I can be in a list with motherf------ like Puff, T.I., Jay-Z, Ice Cube -- with all these n----- out here getting all this real paper and here it is -- I'm out the gate my first year, that lets me know there's enough money to go around for all of us. I don't think hip-hop is dead, and I don't think the South has taken over. I think people from other places are just regrouping. I don't think the South will be on top forever. But I'm making sure I get mine here while it's doing its thing. ...
BallerStatus.com: Being on a powerhouse label like Atlantic -- with chart toppers like T.I. and Pretty Ricky -- do you feel the label is doing your career justice?
Yung Joc: I definitely do. When the label gave me the opportunity to go in and they allow me to select all the people I want to work with and go in and pick all my tracks. I turn in an album, they say "Alright," they ask "How you want the photo shoot to look?" And they say "Alright." They ask "what kind of video you looking for? How you want your album and your layout to look?" And all they say is "alright." Cause I know a lot of cats that say they're label won't let them do anything. They say I'm lucky. I'm very happy to say, I'm proud to say that Atlantic stands behind me and vice versa. I have a good home. Everything's good right now.

Update: This story is accurate.
AllHipHop.com rumors section has this:
Cheri Denni, the sexy singer of Bad Boy, was arrested over the weekend. Apparently, she had some type of encounter with the police that resulted in a night in jail. She reportedly had a lil something with the police. She reportedly got out of jail after posting $500 bond. I dont know all the details, but I do have her mug shot in my possession. I hope this isnt some play for press! That smirk on her face appears pretty and pleased!
The alledged mug shot is at the link above, at the top. It's a rumor and they are the only source, so treat it with the appropriate level of suspicion. I've sent a note over to Bad Boy to try to clear it up. I'll report back if I hear back.
