Ok, it's been confirmed. I'm more inclined to treat that bulletin with less suspicion now.
Well, I know I just said I don't like to report MySpace things, but here we go again. boyzndahood at BadBoyForever.com has posted a supposed MySpace bulletin for Cassie that mentions the following:
HOWEVER, the reason I'm not doing the show is because I'm going to San Diego to do TRL [on Friday], and I'm premiering the Me & U video (directed by the amazing Ray Kay and choreographed by the amazing Rhapsody). ...
P.S. If you get the chance, check out TRL on Thursday too. I have an MTV "You Hear It First" segment on the show. It'll also be on MTV News, MTV 2 and MTV U...
Again, not really sure if it's true or not, but we'll know soon enough, I suppose. I'll try to find out officially, though...
Someone calling themself The Real Carl Thomas has posted this on their MySpace:
On October 31, 2004, my eldest brother and best friend, Duranthany, was brutally shot and murdered in Aurora, IL. He became the victim of a random drive by doled out by a couple of damn kids, 19 & 14 years old, to be exact! This catastrophic event occurred rocking my entire foundation and, the label did nothing to inform the fans. So, through my on going healing process, to the world, Carl Thomas the artist just seemed to fade and disappear into thin air. Dealing with the helpless feeling of not being able to do anything about my brothers death I realized that there were things about my life I could change and the state of my career was first on my list. This prompted my decision to part ways with Sean Combs and Bad Boy Entertainment. It's really all business and I'm glad to say Puff and I still love and respect each other, sharing no bad blood. So, There It Is!
Is it really Carl Thomas? Who knows. I don't really like to report MySpace things like this, but I thought it was worth mentioning.

This isn't new, but it's the first I have heard of it. The May 9 version of Rocketboom featured host Amanda Congdon on the red carpet at the the gala for TIME's 100 Most Influencial people, of which Diddy was named to, of course.
Ms. Congdon spotted Diddy and noticed that he had his own camera guy, taking video. When she asked the fellow what the video was for, he said archivial footage. She actually got to speak to Diddy and this is the result:
Ms. Congdon: What are you gonna do with all this archive footage? I see you have your own cameraman.
Diddy: You know, content is king. So, you know, we've been getting footage for the last 12 years. I definitely wake up and I feel like the people around me - we have a young company, African American based - and we feel we're doing something important and we want to document it to make that if people can see it, especially our people - that they can see it years down the line.
Ms. Congdon: I hope you put online - people will want to see it.
Diddy: Yeah, yeah - no, I'm about to launch Diddy.com. I just got the rights back to my own name online. You know how that is. But, I'm about to launch that in June and there is going to be a big announcement about the content, the special content.
Ms. Congdon: We hope there's video on there.
Diddy: Yeah, yeah - there will be.
Good stuff. Looking forward to it.

At some stores - I are not sure which, sorry - a DVD will be coming with New Joc City. This is basically a making of DVD featuring him in the studio, making his video, making performances, etc. If I find out anything more, I'll be sure to post it.
The album titled has been changed from "True American Pimpin'" to "Riding High," according to their official website. Good idea.
I wouldn't be surprised if it is changed to "Ridin' High" or the single is changed to "Riding High." One or the other.
Hip-hop mogul to appear in Jackson on June 10:
Diddy will emcee a performance by Cheri Dennis, whose debut CD is coming out soon on his Bad Boy Records label.
[Club owner] Sanford said that while Diddy is under no obligation to perform, he wouldn't be surprised if the artist formerly known as Puff Daddy and P. Diddy joins Dennis at the mike for at least one song during her 45-minute set.
Yung Joc's MySpace:
Get a FREE 6-track Bad Boy Reloaded CD when you buy the new Yung Joc NEW JOC CITY CD on June 6th at any F.Y.E. music store. You gotta hurry before they run out. You can go to fye.com to find a F.Y.E. close by.
No word on what the tracks are, but as soon as I know (even if that means buying it myself, I'll let you know).
