MTV.com reports that the third single from "New Joc City" will be 1st Time featuring Marques Houston. They are planning a video remiscient of The Notorious B.I.G.'s "One More Chance/Stay With Me" where Mary J. Blige, Aliyah and others lipsynced over the Faith Evans verse. In this case, that would be done with some of the male "teen sensations" of today, such as Omarion and Ne-Yo.

From MTV.com:
Joc just inked a deal for his own imprint called Hustlenomics, and on October 3, he's putting out a behind-the-scenes DVD called "The Jocumentary."
"People only hear the hit records ... but they don't know what it takes to get there, Joc said. "It's been a helluva grind for me."

According to MTV.com:
Yung Joc said his debut LP, New Joc City, is doing so well, he might drop a second album before 2006 is over. And Warner Music executives are all for it.
"[Warner Music Executive Vice President] Kevin Liles "Setting the pace is key. You can last longer if you set the pace." Yung Joc wants a Christmas release for real," Joc said.
They mention that Joc and Snoop have done a song for it. It seems unlikely, but you never know, I guess. New Joc City has certainly sold well and continues to sell well.

Yung Joc is a guest along with Lil' Wayne, Rich Boy and Lil' Mo on the remix to Jibbs' "Chain Hang Low".
Yung Joc's MySpace.com page has a long list of tour dates. So, check it out if you're hoping to catch him in concert.
Last night, I said that I didn't see Yung Joc. Watching the video again, I just realized where he was. He was the hype man. You can see him on stage at various times in a white shirt. I'm sure some of you noticed this, but just incase you didn't.
Yung Joc was interviewed on the ASU radio station:
SV: Ok ok. So your debut album, New Joc City, is killing the charts and flying off the shelves left and right with hits like Its Going Down and I Know You See It. Whats your favorite song on the album?
Yung Joc: My favorite would probably be Picture Perfect, because its one of the realest songs with the most substance and most truth to it.

According to this interview:
Yung Joc is the latest ATL trap star to make it onto primetime TV. Signed to Puffys Bad Boy South label, the 23 year-old is the standout success story of Atlanta so far this year with his album New Joc City currently selling by the shedload. Its more to do with determination than the actual music itself though, he insists. Its creativity but mainly its perseverance, he reflects. See, these other artists can have bigger hits then mine, they can have a better look then me, but I work circles around people. Not just a tireless rhymer, this enterprising young business-man is co-CEO of Block Entertainment (home to Boyz In The Hood) and a budding video director.

Plan of attack:
"You know if you're a millionaire and you gotta spend a penny you ain't a millionaire no more?"
Joc sold the hat to a friend for $5.
"I had a million dollars, spent that $33. Sold the hat back because I was down $5 and I had a million dollars again. So I became a millionaire twice!"
Joc laughs.
"Think about it!"

Congrats to Chamillionaire as he is the winner of Best Rap Video, beating out our own Yung Joc. Too bad.
