These are a couple weeks old, but Sandra Rose has an album of pictures from the release party. Joc, Diddy, Block, Cheri Dennis, Patrick from B5 and others were there.

From AllHipHop.com:
Musicically, fans will be able to hear the rapper on upcoming remixes with Cassie, Cherish and Cheri Dennis as well as new singles from Trey Songs and Marques Houston. ...
Not one to leave a stone unturned, Joc addressed rumblings of a beef between him, Jeezy and D4L after the release of his single 'A Couple Grand,' saying there was no such issue when he did the song.
"No, I'm not dissing D4L and no I'm not dissing Jeezy. Just to let it be out there. You want to let it be known. I'm not dissin not a one of them n*****. I f**** with them n*****. Matter of fact. I just did the 'I'm Da Man' remix with Shawty Lo and Rick Ross."
I would guess that the remix with Cheri Dennis is "I Love You," the one with Cherish is "Do It To It" and the song with Marques Houston is "Like This." Not sure what the Cassie and Trey Songz ones would be. Is it possible that Joc is on the Bad Boy Remix of Me & U?

'It's Goin' Down' is also enjoying explosive success in the ringtone world. Throughout June, Yung Joc is being heavily featured across all major carriers including Cingular, T-Mobile, Sprint, Verizon, and Virgin Mobile USA. In addition, Sprint has two exclusive non-album full-tracks available for download through the Sprint Music Store.
No word on what they are called. E-mail me if you have Sprint. Thanks.

MTV is reporting:
Opening at #3 is rapper Yung Joc's inaugural LP New Joc City, which put up first-week sales of more than 148,000, besting Ice Cube's latest, Laugh Now, Cry Later, by nearly 4,000 copies. Cube controls the #4 spot, followed at #5 by the soundtrack to the Disney Channel original movie "High School Musical," with close to 87,000 scans. The Red Hot Chili Peppers' Stadium Arcadium is at #6 with 86,000 units sold.
I believe that this is a pretty good showing. Congrats.
I've had a little time to listen to New Joc City now, so I thought I'd post up some quick thoughts. To keep it simple, I would say that a lot of the album just isn't my type of music or the type of music I would normally listen to. Nonetheless, there are some tracks in there that I like that have made it into my playlist. Those are New Joc City (Intro), It's Goin' Down, Do Ya Bad, I Know You See It and 1st Time. It's Goin' Down is my favorite at this point, I'd say.
So, what about you? What are your favorite tracks?
You can find it here.
There is an exclusive performance of It's Goin' Down, an interview (talked more about Diddy eating and this page with various short questions, like what song he wishes he wrote, etc.

Yung Joc is in at 3 today on 106 & Park.
I was thinking. Joc was number 1 the day before his album was released and the day his album was released. I wonder how often that happens. I'm willing to bet it isn't frequent.
Just finished watching it. He put on a good performance.
Before that, he came on and answered a few questions. The usual stuff, pretty much. He said that the first time he met Diddy, Diddy was eating, listening to the music, so he sat there nodding his head and eating and then he asked Joc to perform the record right there and he did and he said he was jumping on couches, etc. Diddy told him that he liked his attitude and that he was humble and to stay that way. The flashback joint was Bad Boy for Life, which Joc introduced.
Cheri came in at number 10, her 5th day on the countdown. Joc came in at #1 for the 2nd straight day. Good stuff!
Just a reminder: Yung Joc will perform on 106 & Park tonight.
