From The Mercury News:
"We amicably settled, and that's all we can say," said Herman Stephens, an attorney for Cedrick Bobby Lemon, who filed the lawsuit in May 2002. ...
As two bodyguards tried to clear the backstage area to escort Blige from the Joel Coliseum following the concert, they punched Lemon in the head, kicked him in the back and broke his right ankle, according to the lawsuit.
Episode happened June, 1995. Lawsuit filed May, 2002. What took so long?

Incase you haven't seen it yet:
MTV News reports:
In a Manhattan loft, Diddy hosted an exhibit of his friend Cheryl Fox Spencer's work. The exhibit included photos of Diddy and his sons in a swimming pool and him and Snoop smoking cigars. Nobody could miss NBA All-Star Shaquille O'Neal, who told jokes and took pictures with his admirers.
Model Melyssa Ford, GOOD Music artist Consequence, Bad Boy MC Aasim, and "All My Children" actor Michael B. Jordan (not to be confused with number 23) were among the New York tastemakers who checked out huge photos of Mary J. Blige, Naomi Campbell, Kim Porter and Beyonc looking glamorous.
Watching right now, he's in at 4, which is his peak position. 13 days on the charts now. Keep it up...
Edit: They asked Lil' Jon what his favorite recent 106 & Park video was and he said Yung Joc and then he said E-40.
The new release date for the album is July 11.

This was posted on XXLMAG.COM in March, but it is a very interesting read with perspectives from people who took part in it. There are some strong words here and there, but you should definitely take it with a grain of salt as one person's opinion, I'd say.
10 Mo Money Mo Problems
FEATURING PUFFY AND MA$E
Produced by Stevie J. and Puffy
Stevie J. Ma$e came to me in the studio one day with this Im Comin Out sample. Hes like, When you gonna use this right here? Either my album, Puff album or Big album? So we laid the track first but nobody knew who was gonna get it. And then when Big came with the B-I-G P-O-P-P-A! What!? That was Bigs joint. Everybody felt that.
