In the latest issue of Billboard Magazine, on page 30, there is an article called "Making the Bands" which discusses the success/potential success of MTV series that aim to launch music acts. In it, Making the Band 4 is highlighted briefly, as is Bad Boy, Diddy and Danity Kane. Nothing major. Danity Kane is highlighted as one of the successful acts to come out of an MTV series and rightfully so.
Well, you know, everyday is special here at Bad Boy Blog. But, tomorrow, we'll have a major feature to commemorate the 10th year anniversary of the release of that classic album, "No Way Out". The article will feature tons of behind the scenes information and more on the creation and development of the album. Over the past month and a half, or so, I've completed interviews with Rashad Smith (producer of "Young G's"), Jaz-O (producer of "I Got the Power"), Michael Benabib (cover photographer) and three engineers who worked extensively on the project - Stephen Dent, Axel Niehaus and Michael Patterson.
So, if you're a huge Bad Boy or Diddy fan, you are going to love this.
Diddy's MySpace features an updated list of upcoming appearances.

There isn't much on it that I can see, but on the WPGC site, it mentions that Yung Joc and Boyz N Da Hood will be on Big Tigger's Beltway Tour and to stay tuned to see where they're going to pop up.
For all of my B5 fan readers, I wanted to mention that I just did the interview with them a few minutes ago and it went great. I asked them 16 of your questions (you'll have to wait and see which 16 :)) and the guys were great. So, lookout for that interview. I expect to publish it next week.
Diddy was the first to come out. He presented Terrence and Rocsi with Sean John shades. He talked about his BET Awards performance (his first performance at the BET Awards as an artist), his performance at the Princess Diana concert, his recent performance in South Africa, his kids, his breakup with Kim Porter (he said she's his best friend and it's not something he wants to go through, but he'll always love her).
After a video break, Mario Winans dropped by. They asked them what it's like in the studio when they're together. Diddy said it's magical and Mario said that he "always loves doing records with [his] brother". He called "Through the Pain (She Told Me)" "another passionate joint." And then Diddy introduced the video. Following with what I talked about recently, he introduced the video as "Through the Pain, a.k.a. She Told Me, Dear Kim". The video was credited As "Through the Pain (She Told Me): Dear Kim".
What can I say about the video? It's a cool video, I like it a lot, as a fan. The video opens with Diddy and Mario riding in a car and Mario sings his opening part. And then, as the song progresses, they move to a club, to the front of the parked car in the city, in front of a woodgrain wall, etc. It has a good vibe and fits the song.
After the video was over, Diddy announced that the DVD for the second season of P. Diddy Presents the Bad Boys of Comedy. It was released on July 17.
After a commercial break, Diddy announced B5, stopping to allow audience screaming and applause and then continuing, saying "not since the Beatles have a group come out that's gonna cause this much hysteria throughout the world."
Before they could introduce their record, Diddy interrupted and told everyone that radio stations around the country are "fronting on this record" and he encouraged all of the ladies to call in and request the record and if they don't play it, tell them that you are going to turn off your radio. B5 then introduced "Hydrolics".
After the video, Diddy encouraged everyone to vote the video onto the countdown and talked about Bad Boy's upcoming releases as well as the upcoming release of Sean John Ladies. He didn't say much except to say who was coming, which we already know about.
During the commercial, it mentioned a Screamfest 2007 special that will feature Yung Joc on 12:30 PM ET, but I missed the day. And that's it.
Yung Joc's Rap City appearance was today, actually. So, either it got moved or I was told incorrectly. Anyway, I missed the first 10 minutes of it of the show, but I don't think I missed much, if anything of Joc's appearance. It seems like it may be over. Nothing noteworth except that, at the end, he mentioned "new movie" and then wouldn't give any other details.
Since I announced the official tracklisting released by the label, I've been getting a few questions about the B5 track "All Over Again" which they have been performing, supposedly, introducing it as a cut from the new album. Yet, it wasn't on the tracklist.
You asked - I found out. I spoke with B5's manager, Jim McMahan, a few moments ago and he told me that the song has now been added to the album and the tracklisting has been changed. Here is the new, final tracklisting:
1. Hydrolics
2. How You Not Gonna
3. Right to Left
4. Erika Kane
5. Got It Like That
6. Tear Drops
7. In My Bedroom
8. All Over Again
9. What it Do
10. No One Else
11. I Must Love Drama
12. So Incredible
13. Things I Would Do
14. Rockstar (Bonus Track)
I'm guessing that "I Must Love Drama" is the same as "Drama", "So Incredible" is the same as "Incredible" and "Things I Would Do" is the same as "Things I Do For My Girl". Besides "All Over Again", "How You Not Gonna" is the other new track.
