On today's 106 & Park, Joc introduced "Coffee Shop". He talked about how he's slimed down and got in shape (he said he's lost 30 pounds). He said that he realized it was needed when he was going to pass out on last year's Scream Tour. So, him and Block went into the gym and worked on it.

DJ Booth: Certainly. The title, �So Much Better,� does this accurately capture your current feeling about life, Carl?
Carl Thomas: Absolutely, you know, I was a victim of a family tragedy. My brother, Halloween night 2004, was the victim of a drive-by shooting, and I was in the middle of promoting my second album, �Let�s Talk About It.� It kind of brought that album to a halt, because I kinda put the microphone down on it actually, and picked my family up; we went through that together, man, and I really didn�t have anything to say. ...
DJ Booth: Do you think that [Bad Boy maybe not being the place to sustain a superstar] is what mostly accounts for having your debut album reach platinum status, and then your sophomore album not doing the same type of numbers?
Carl Thomas: Naw, that�s really not what I attribute that to. I think the first album reached platinum, and the second album reached gold, because the second album I really wasn�t allowed to work it like I was allowed to work, �Emotional.�
DJ Booth: Why not?
Carl Thomas: Because, well my brother got killed, I just quit. You know, I did everything right there I�m just sayin� promotion of the album � if the artist isn�t there, what are you able to do?

QUESTION: Tell me about the premise behind the white party?
ANSWER: Diddy really started it on a grand scale. We do it here as a nice event. You see thousands of people in white. It looks like you're in hip-hop heaven. And more or less, we're just making it bigger and bigger every year. We're trying to make Chene Park be the ultimate one, so we don't have to go anywhere else anymore. We're just shaking it up. Indoor, outdoor, it's going to look like a nightclub with white fabric everywhere.

More than 500 local contestants tried out at Reign restaurant and lounge in Norfolk. This was the first time the show made a stop in Virginia and only three people, Knight included, made the cut. Although he was not one of the 20 weeded out by P.Diddy and his panel of musical experts in Monday night's season premier, Knight considers his time spent in New York a rewarding one.
If this MySpace page is any indication, Kima (from former Bad Boy group Total) will make her cinematic debut in "Fiesta", based on the Shelley Halima novel Azucar Moreno, slated to begin filming this summer.
The video for "Coffee Shot" just premiered on BET's Access Granted. I don't think anyone said "Bad Boy" one time during the whole show...
In the video, Joc plays a handful of different characters (one of them an old man, including make up that takes 3 and 1/2 hours to put on and an hour to remove, another a short cashier (the high pitched voice featured throughout the track)). The video revolves around Joc's shop where you can buy anything. Anything. CDs, shoes, cars, passports, birth certificates, whatever. Yung Joc's dad is in the video, posing as the man who sells the vacant shop to Joc.
At the beginning of the video, you can hear "Everybody Know Me" by Boyz N Da Hood. The video features cameos from Block, DJ Drama, Boyz N Da Hood, Rick Ross, Lloyd, 8 Ball & MJG and Brandy "Ms. B" Hambrick (I believe).
If Rocsi's closing message on today's 106 & Park is any indication, it seems like Yung Joc's appearance on 106 & Park tomorrow is going to be a performance.
