Ernest A. Jasmin of The News Tribune reviews Janelle Monae's performance at the Bumbershoot festival. Let's just say that he enjoyed it.

"This set made more of an impression on me than any other. Sporting a pompadour big enough to make Little Richard jealous, the diminutive spitfire channeled him, Billie Holiday and Johnny Rotten during one of the most inspired, natural performances I�ve seen in years," he wrote.
