02/20: Janelle Monae: "I Have the Right to Make a Concept Album Without Being Asked About It"
Chandler Levack of the Toronto Star has a brief interview with Janelle Monae where they talk about
her next album and the meaning of "The ArchAndroid."
�I have the right to make a concept album without being asked about it,� says the singer. �I am very in tune with reality, I am very in tune with the cynics out there, and I pay income taxes just like you do.�
�The ArchAndroid is not a selfish act by Janelle Mon�e to try and live in an illusion, it�s to help all the people who are told they can�t love because of their sexual preference.
