Back in May,
I posted a teaser for Fabolous' "Tonight/Love Come Down" music video featuring Red Cafe. The songs are from his "There is No Competition 2" mixtape (free download). The songs are from the rapper's
"There is No Competition 2" mixtape (
free download). The second track is his take on the Dirty Money's "Love Come Down," featuring a Diddy sample.
Aasim has released a new freestyle for download,
"On My Queens S*** (Freestyle)". You can listen to it below, as well.
The last that we heard,
Dirty Money's "Last Train to Paris" was due for a September 20 release date. That is no longer the case. In the clip below, Diddy
announces his August/September cover feature in Vibe, and notes that the album will be released in October. He declined to provide a specific date.
"Yeah, I know I've been saying a lot of dates, so I'm not even going to tell y'all the exact date," he said. "But, at least know the month. The month is October."
Vibe has
posted some snippets from their interview with Diddy for the
cover story in their August/September issue. One of the questions, deals with Martin Bashir's questioning of him during
his June appearance on ABC's "Nightline." This was his answer:
There were times in the interview when I had to give him an ultimatum. The questions werent being handled the right way. In hindsight, when I saw him I shouldnt had done the interview because I know the style of interview that he does . . . The whole thing about giving a Maybach to my son, thats really like a racist question. You dont ask White people what they buy their kids. And they buy em Porsches and convertible Bentleys and it aint no question. Its really a racist question and put things back in perspective with money and the way that people still look at you. And Im not saying that consciously hes a racist. But he probably dont even realize that he would not ask Steve Jobs that. He would be like Steve Jobs has that money and thats the gift his kid is supposed to get.
The
big announcement that Diddy hinted at yesterday, in regard to his
guest editor stint at Vibe.com today, is that
he'll cover the August/September issue of Vibe Magazine, alongside Dirty Money, Cassie, Janelle Monae, Red Cafe and Rick Ross. Here's a clip of Diddy talking about the cover:

According to
his Twitter, Diddy will be the guest editor of the day on
Vibe Magazine's website on Wednesday. He promises a "huge surprise."
Janelle Monae has digitally released a compilation of "Tightrope" remixes on
Beatport, to be followed by an August 3
relaese on Amazon.com. Titled, "Tightrope (The Remixes)," the 10 track release will feature remixes from Robbie Rivera, DJ Goodwill, Paul Harris and 10 Rapid. It will also feature the
Wondamix with B.o.B and Lupe Fiasco and an acapella of the original cut.
If you can wait a week or so, the
