With the video below and this post, Dawn Richard has launched DawnRichardBlog.com, a new site where she'll be blogging and writing. From the initial 10 posts or so, it looks like the subject matter will include music (hers and otherwise), Dirty Money, fashion, poignant quotes, among other things.
Back in April of 2006, we learned that Bad Boy owned the city of New York for plastering posters around said city.
Over four years later, Diddy's name is in the headline of an article by Erin Einhorn at the Daily News, with city officials claiming that Bad Boy still (not Diddy) owes them $996,000 for the poster cleanup.
According to the writeup, a spokesman for Bad Boy called the bill a "bureaucratic error" and said that it had been paid by a partner company three years ago. Meanwhile, a city spokesman responded by saying their lawyers are reviewing the issue.
Einhorn says that Bad Boy is among "thousands" that owe the city $1.9 billion. The alleged $996,000 that Bad Boy (not Diddy) owes the city is 0.052421052631578945% of the $1.9 billion. That's right, 0.05%. It's unclear if the city actually named him specifically or if the Daily News simply picked him out of a list released by the city and included him in the headline to draw readers. But, either way, it seems odd and sensationalist.
Eric R. Danton has a quick interview with Janelle Monae for CTnow. There are a couple of interesting tidbits in it, though, including Monae saying that it took her 1 year, 9 months, 18 days, 9 hours, 4 minutes and 3 seconds to finish her album, "The ArchAndroid."
Diddy appeared on "Lopez Tonight" last night to announce that Dirty Money's "Hello Good Morning" had gone gold. He also performed a quick verse from "It's All About the Benjamins." check out the full clip below.

Following a trio of teasers, here is a behind the scenes feature from the shoot for Jeremy Greene's "Fire Proof" music video, directed by Rage and filmed in Maine.
On Jeremy Greene's MySpace, you can check out a full list of his 2009 through winter 2010 tour dates. He'll be hitting a lot of venues. If you're in the U.S., chances are he'll hit one within an hour or so of you.
For the second consecutive year, I've partnered with BlogWorld & New Media Expo to promote the event on the iFroggy Network.
I have attended and spoke at the conference for the last two years and I believe it to be one of the most beneficial blogging, social and new media based conferences that exists today. I'm glad to be back this year to attend and speak once again as the event moves to Mandalay Bay (where I hope to be staying).
If you create content online or market yourself online in any way, the event is definitely worth checking out, whether you are a blogger, podcaster, online writer, digital or new media person at a label or marketing company, an artist or just someone who wants to improve their efforts online through social and new media.
As part of our partnership, they have provided me with a coupon code that will get you 20% off of any BlogWorld & New Media Expo pass. Through September 16, this will include the already discounted rates. But, the code will be good right up until the start of the conference. The code to use is IFROGGYVIP.
