Rap-Up.com reports that Cassie will perform "King of Hearts" on BET's "106 & Park" on April 23. It will be her first performance on the show since her poorly received performance of "Me & U" in 2006.
In an interview with Singersroom.com, Cassie talked about the difference between working with and without music producer Ryan Leslie.
Working Without Ryan Leslie…We haven’t worked with each other on this project. We definitely met up and tried to get together and stuff like that but the schedules just never matched up. He’s doing his artist think too so…I’m always prepared for a Ryan Leslie Collab though.
Working process Without Ryan…It’s fun both ways. With Ryan there was like a cohesive sound so there was no issue with things sounding different but I like working with different people and learning from different people and writers, producers and stuff like that; it’s really fun. My ear has grown a lot too because I really kind of had to fend for myself in a way.
57thAve spoke with N.O.R.E. about his upcoming mixtape, "Crack on Steroids." One of the songs that will be featured on it is "Baby Girl" featuring Cassie. In the clip below, you can listen to a preview at the 3:17 mark. The mixtape will be available on LiveMixtapes.com on April 8 at 12 PM ET.
Diddy and Cassie both shared a free download link for the Kanye West remix to Cassie's "King of Hearts."
It is worth pointing out that this mix is a little different from the one that Bad Boy serviced directly to DJs and online outlets on Friday. There are some subtle adjustments and it is about 21 seconds shorter. Listen to the version Diddy and Cassie linked to below and the other one in our audio player.
Earlier today, Funkmaster Flex premiered Kanye West's remix of Cassie's "King of Hearts." Care of Bad Boy Records, I now have the official, full version of the track that is about two minutes longer. You can listen to it in our audio player. Check out the single cover below.
