Billboard's Mariel Concepcion reports that, according to a source close to Diddy, he has agreed to manage both Rick Ross and Nicki Minaj, along with one of his own managers, James Cruz.

The article mentions that representatives at Interscope, Def Jam and Universal Motown - the main distributing labels of Diddy, Rick Ross and Nicki Minaj, respectively - all could not be reached for comment. Meanwhile, Cruz had no comment to XXL.

Interestingly, the Concepcion notes that Ross made reference to a "big announcement" that he and Diddy would be making soon, during a radio on Power 105.1 earlier this week. She also mentions a "rumor" that Ross is "extensively contributing to the writing" on "Last Train to Paris."

At press time, nothing about this story had been mentioned on the Twitter profiles of Diddy, Minaj or Cruz. I've reached out to Diddy's publicist for comment.

Back in September, we reported on the controversy surrounding DJ Hell's Diddy-featured track, "The DJ," and Felix Da Housecat's accusation of plagiarism. He said that DJ Hell had taken a vocal from a recording session he had with Diddy, without his permission.

inthemix reports that the two resolved their differences during the recent Winter Music Conference in Miami, according to Felix Da Housecat, thanks to a chance encounter in an elevator, which led to them talking things out.

NODFACTOR.COM has an interview with Matt Friedman, one half of the Illfonics production duo along with Jed Cappelli. They were behind Gorilla Zoe's "Day Dreamer."

How did you link up with Gorilla Zoe to do Day Dreamer?

We had a meeting with his publisher and he came in and we hit it off. We played some beats and he liked a lot of shit. Our first session is where we knocked out Day Dreamer. Hes supposed to come back tonight actually.

Here's a clip with some "making of" discussion about the track:
